Wide jumbo binder clip has an approximate width of 100mm (3.9") and a capacity to hold about 85 sheets. Extra large binder clip is ideal for organizing and holding together wide material or large volume of documents and files. The loops at the apex are designed to prevent the steel edges from cutting into the paper. Handles can be put down once the clip has been attached. The spring forces of the wire handles add extra security for holding contents. One handle can be folded upright for hanging.

Great for DIY quilters

Ordered to clip a quilt layers to a table. Smaller clips kept popping off. This one opens to 1.5 inches (at least as far as I can get it), clip itself is about 2" by 2" so it was deep enough to go over my table and generously grip the fabric layers. The grip handles extend nearly 4 inches off the clip so there is plenty of torque. All this comes at a price - not for weak hands but I can make my 70-year-old hands work them. Very heavy duty!

It's the only binder clip big enough to clamp two pieces of half-inch thick plywood together in such a way that nothing sticks out from the edges and you can release the clamps quickly (as opposed to, say, screwing them down with knobs or wing-nuts). What's more, they're probably more sturdy and durable than a typical plastic jaw-clamp. So, expensive though it may be, I bought two of them and haven't regretted it.

We had an odd use for these clips. In the fluoroscopy suite of our busy x-ray department we needed a way to hold the pad on the exam table -- in some exams the tilting table starts at straight up and we lower it so it's flat during the study, and all this while a patient is on board. We'd been using tape and straps and other jury-rigged solutions for a long time but they were all a hassle and none worked well. These clips work great. They're big enough to go around the table pad and the table itself, they don't interrupt the operation of the table, they hold the pad on even with the weight of a patient pulling on it, they're easy to clean, and they're easy to use. Perfect solution.

Lion's "Godzilla" sized clip! Oh yeah!!

This "Godzilla" sized clip is just like the more common 2" style, but BIGGER. Quality wise, I can see no difference compared to the more well known ACCO brand but I don't think they make one this big! Just be aware that the grip strength is nearly the same is a 2" clip, but spread out over 6". Keep the load under a 1/2" stack of paper and all will be fine. Also it can, of course, secure a big bag of yummy chips (crisps to you Brits out there!) Now, que up your vintage vinyls of the great Blue Öyster Cult's classic, Godzilla!.

I purchased these after watching a YouTube video in which they used smaller ones to clip a quilt on a table that was thinner than mine. These definitely held the quilt for basting, but it takes two hands to open one. I eventually, ordered and prefer the Zicome plastic clips. They both hold the quilt to the table and hold the roll while I quilt.

your really have to see this clip to believe it, it is massive. I am actually using it to secure a end of a USB female cable to the top part of my laptop's docking station ... the largest ones that I could find fell short by about 1/2 inch or so in terms of how wide the JAWS of the clip would expand. This one tackled that thick docking station with about 1/4 inch to spare. I could not use mounting tape (even the permanent kind) because I was plugging a JLAB USB speaker (older model) and the clip had to be strong enough to support the speaker. The clip worked flossily for the purpose I purchased it for, very pleased. And have never seen a binder clip so large
