This series starts slowly and gains momentum quickly. It's by the creator of 'Sex and the City' so you know everyone is going to look good in clothes, see plenty of action without clothes, and either eat in restaurants or order take-out. In a stunning innovative feature of this series, one character is shown to know how to cook.

The three women whose lives are the center of the story are believable in their roles, even if the New York City life they lead pushes the limits of credibility at times. They are gorgeous but have a little more depth than Samantha, Carrie, Charlotte, and Miranda. The men they bed and wed (or not) also have more depth than the boys and men of SATC.

Although the series ended too soon, i felt like the relationships would continue. No fatal flaws in the men in the lives of these women - they may be immature (but would grow up fast), mistrustful (but would dare to trust), or insecure about financial success (but would go on to succeed); there was no Mr. Big in this series with several marriages behind him and a tendency to cheat.

I'm glad I watched the entire series because I have a new respect for Brooke Shields. She juggled the most balls of these multi-tasking women and she dropped a few. Her portrayal of a frustrated stay at home mom was not strident and it showed how one woman could approach the situation creatively.

I absolutely loved this series. Enjoyed season one and was so looking forward to season 2 and was not dissapointed. I laughed, cried and sympatised with the characters. Love them all. Def worth watching and my daughther who is in her teens also enjoyed it.

Starting off with Nico trying desperately to get her marriage back on track after feeling so guilty about her affair. little does she know! Victory wanting nothing from Joe but we all know secretly she still loves him, and Wendy - she has a few things to deal with in this season as far as Maddie and Shane are concerned.

Victory deals with a store opening and a fling with her contractor - Nico with a surprise thats certainly life changing and Wendy who has to deal with a lot of unexpected issues and then her husband wanting to go on a tour with Natasha Benningfield.Just when you thought things were good the unexpected happens...but watch it and see....

As per usual the turns and twists of lives of 3 beautiful friends and women.

Thoroughly enjoyed and really sad they decided to end the series.

The only real problem is that just as you get into the whole plot the show gets cancelled due to lack of interest from the US audience.
