These bags are very thick plastic and they are quite large. I have a 22 lb turkey that I'm brining for thanksgiving and there was plenty of space even with the liquid and turkey together. From my research, the best way to brine is to put the turkey upside down in the bag so that the breasts are submerged in the brine. The bag comes with a small blue clasp that is used to close the double zipper alot easier than just using your fingers. I'm very pleased with these bags.

3 cups Apple Juice Or Apple Cider
