Titles By Lisa Beth Darling
Recovering from his brush with death and newly (nearly) sober, Richard Mason begins the task of letting go of his sister, Hannah Rice. With her mind becoming clearer and love blooming sweetly between her and Nick Jackson, it seems nothing can stand in her way of becoming declared legally capable once more.
A shadowy stranger from the hidden past sets his sights on Hannah and her 3.5 million dollar trust fund. With revenge on his mind and spite in his heart, he’ll stop at nothing to claim his rightful inheritance even if he has to kill Hannah or send her back to the miserable depths of despair and madness she worked so desperately to crawl out of.
The last of the Rice family secrets come to light in this roller coaster ride of suspense, love, betrayal, and faith.
The Rain.
To Hannah it seems it never stops raining.
The droplets on the window pane blur the lines between fantasy and reality, just as the items that won't stop coming to the door make those between past & present nonexistent.
Struggling between the darkness in her mind and the pain in her recovering body the agonizing truth of those dark family secrets comes to light.
It’s up to Mason, and his unconventional methods to help Hannah confront the ugliness of her past in hopes that she can set upon the path to regaining her present.
A Very Different Kind of Love Story
Doctor Richard Mason has just been put in charge of his physically and mentally challenged sister, Hannah Rice. A girl he knew from childhood days as nothing more than a summertime friend.
Hannah struggles to communicate with the brother she's known about and longer for these past decades even though he doesn't seem to enjoy having her around. He makes fun of her. He prods her. He makes her do things she doesn't want to do like...talk. No one ever cared about what she may want to say.
Ever the optimist, in her own inimitable way, Hannah stumbles through her new surroundings building a relationship with Mason as she breathes new life into her brother’s dreary world.
Ares, always willing to please his wife, decides his family will celebrate the holiday without his Father or any of his other backstabbing relatives. But that doesn’t mean they are not watching from a distance.
Christmas Eve on Olympus takes place after Book #1 The Heart of War and during Book #2 Child of War-A God is Born. Those who have not yet read this series will get a nice, if not typical, introduction to the series while readers of the series will enjoy this little glimpse into a single day of life on Olympus.
A New World Rises
Ares, Athena, and Raven wander the remains of the Mortal World vainly reaching for a sliver of what was... only to get an unsavory glimpse of what is to come.
From the fiery wreckage of destruction and decay a new world is slowly arising one where the descendants of Olympians, Celts, and Dark Fae will rule.
Sadly, it seems even the mighty God of War is not immune to Major Falls and a rabid God of War is not a pretty sight.
By the time Ares’ fevered body is brought to Olympus, Apollo’s descent into madness is utterly complete.
Yet, it is the Golden God, Alena’s greatest nemesis who holds the key to saving Ares’ life.
Raven Arrives on Olympus
Ares settles down with his wife, Alena, to await the birth of their son, Raven. The strong but delicate Fey is relentlessly bombarded by hostility from the Olympians making her yearn to be back on Ares’ secluded island home, far away from all the bickering and backstabbing that makes up Life on mighty Mount Olympus.
With no way out and no way to keep his family safe from his father, Zeus the God of Gods, Ares enters into a blood pact that could cost the God of War everything he holds dear.
As the true past between the Olympians and Celts is revealed, the battle for Ravens' mind and the ultimate control of Olympus begins. Before it's over, the white snows of Olympus will run red with blood.
Ares God of War is the greatest Warrior the world has ever known. He’s moody, grumpy, dominant, ravenously sexual, and above all, built like a Greek God.
The solitude of Ares’ island is interrupted when Magdalena MacLeod a brash and sometimes manipulative Fey washes up on Ares’ shore.
It’s not mere fate that has brought the unlikely couple together yet it may be what tears them apart.
Get lost in this sweeping dark saga of betrayal, secrets, love, lust, rage, and redemption. Ares God of War and Alena MacLeod share a love that will rock the world from the heights of Olympus to the Celtic moors.
Drop Your Religious Baggage at the Door When Lucifer Returns to Eden
In this creative and often humorous re-envisioning of the Christian Creation Story, Lucifer is unceremoniously yanked out of Hell by his Father so he can return to his old job in the Garden of Eden. When he arrives, broken, battered, and bleeding, he falls into the arms of Eve who is unsure about seeing her old lover again as are the Gods and Goddesses now living in a dying paradise.
Tasked with returning the Sacred Trees of Life and Knowledge to flourishing bounty once more, Lucifer struggles to learn his new place in his old home. Yet, he hasn't been placed there solely to tend the Garden. His son, Cain, is on the way with murder and destruction on his mind.
Having lived, cursed by God, for eons, Cain Enoch has made quite a name for himself and amassed a fortune that would make even his Grandfather envious and with it he'll stop at nothing to find Eden and destroy it. Why? So he can finally die even though it means taking the Earth, Heaven, and Hell with him.
The tables turn between brother and sister when Mason falls mysteriously ill.
Hospitalized and on the brink of death, a mysterious illness grabs hold of Mason's fevered mind sending him down the rabbit hole.
Hannah firmly believes she has had a vision from God. Nothing and no one will deter her as she sets out on her God given mission to save her brother.
Luckily for Hannah, Nick Jackson, has the utmost faith in her even if she does seem a little obsessed with finding the white rabbit.
Book #5 in the OF WAR Series spans four generations of women in Alena's family from her great-grandmother, Shar Draiocht the last known Queen of the Dark Kingdom to her tortured daughter Morrowind, to Maven Alena's free-spirited mother and through the lonely life of Alena MacLeod ending where "The Heart of War" begins with the night Alena washes up on Ares' shore.
