This is an exceptionaly well made tool.
The puller end is a full round lip/jaw which is pie cut into 4 slices.
The jaws are expanded by pressure from a ball bearing which is pressed down into the expandable jaw sleeve by screwing in of the puller shaft.
It is far superior to the KD tool. The handle is anodized alluminum not wood as it seems to appear in the photo and the slide weight is more than adequate for the job.
I used this tool to pull an internal roller bearing on my boats steering/gimbal housing apx. the same size as a hydraulic lifter.
I was amazed at the manufacturing detail.
One day you just might need one of these, and its the best you can get for any price I've seen...
A must have for any serious engine rebuilder or motorhead!
