The right tool for the right job makes all the difference!
These pliers are well built, the knurled tips are pronounced and deep, and the added "L" shape to the tips has turned out to be more useful than anticipated. Circlips do not budge one gripped in the pliers for installation, and removal comes easy with the extra force these give you confidence to use. If I somehow broke this pair, I would buy another, immediately.
For the most part this worked great, however I did modify the handle ends so I could gain a little extra spreading ability.
I also ended up grinding the snap ring end off in order to fit into the rear snap ring groove in the back of the transmission case.
Not perfect but it did the job.

Useless for Nissan or Infiniti spring retainers. Screwdrivers succeeded after 15 minutes of frustration.Published 1 month ago by Amazon Customer
got these for the rebuild of my 4R70W and didn't use them once. the angle of the tip didn't fit into the places I need. I used the Channellock 927 8-Inch for the entire rebuild..Published 2 months ago by Chase.
Used them to rebuild a transmission. Was able to remove and install circlips easily. Very sturdy. Circlips are like c-clips but without the holes on the ends.Published 4 months ago by kevin evans
Excellent tool to have in the tool box. These pliers are great for external locking rings that are not designed for normal snap ring pliers. Read morePublished 4 months ago by Brian Ray
With only knurled flats instead of prongs that can fit right into the eyes of snap rings, you cant get a very good grip on the ring. Read morePublished 6 months ago by kenneth welch
