Bought this along with drops to make my water alkaline. Strip never change colors just appeared wet after dipping in water. Very disappointed.

These arrived quickly and responded to different substances as expected. The package is like a match book and about 25% larger than a matchbook. They come in a plastic baggie type package that can be used to store the test strips between uses and keep them uncontaminated.

I used the test strips for CP soap. The color change was very quick and I was able to match the color to the chart with no problem. I also tested my pool water to compare the results to my pool test strips. According to my pool test strips the ph is about 6.2 or 6.8. The result of the new litmus test strips was about a 6 (give or take), because in this range there is little or no change in color to the test strip. While these may be too large a range to measure the pool ph, they are perfect for my cp soap. Since I was able to perform a comparison test And receive similar results, I feel my reading for my soap is fairly accurate. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase. Oh, and I forgot to mention delivery was really fast.

I bought these to test my ferments for safety. I am new to fermenting, and even though I know it's unlikely for this process to result in unsafe products, it increases my peace of mind. I keep the strips with my canning supplies for convenience. They're inexpensive and not super precise, but that's not needed. I can match the color closely enough to feel confident that the ferment is safe to be refrigerated and eaten.

The strips read well, i wish they came with a protective case to keep out moisture in the air, but you can't have everything for a low price. Much cheaper than lab supply catalogues. I just used an old case from something else and threw in a few desiccant strips. Good for a wide range pH. Most other strips on the market it seems are geared toward making fish comfortable. These are better suited for, "why are these fish super dead."

These strips work well, and are accurate. Best part is that they are good for all types of applications. Price is surely right.

Would buy again, but for $5 plus change, I've got a lifetime supply.

I purchased the pH strips to measure the acidity of homemade wine. The strips work to give a general idea of the pH but it is not very sensitive in that it only reads numbers 1,2,3,etc. and I needed it to read in fractions, 1.1, 1.2 etc. This is not the fault of the product, rather a lack of understanding on my part about the level of sensitivity I needed for wine making.

Had a lot of fun running around testing all the things. Sometimes it's hard to tell when you're between colors, but these worked fine for my purposes.

My only complaint is that the even/odd ph's are on opposite sides of the card, which makes it hard to do a side-by-side comparison with the strip. I would have rather seen all the acids and bases grouped.

These are worthless! No matter what I tested the result was the same. Compared to other test strips these are trash. Don't waste your money. If I could give them no stars I would.

I am using these test strips in order to test the ph of my water for gardening purposes (eventually) and to test the ph of my dye vats. They appear to be doing what they should and so I have no complaints. They are a thin piece of paper that you tear off and quickly dip in the water and compare it against the chart supplied. I found it easy to make the comparison as you can just put the paper in front of the chart and pick the one where you can tell a color difference the least. My water tested at a 7, which is right in the middle of the ph scale... most would think this is a great thing, but when dyeing a leaning toward one end or the other could produce nice colors. This is not a problem as there are ways to increase or decrease the ph and get what I want. Great ph strips from what I can tell so far.

When creating my reviews I take in to full consideration the quality of the product, communication with the seller, and longevity of the product. I revisit my reviews from time-to-time in order to ensure the review is as up to date as possible based on my continued use of the product. This ensures that the product not only performs well upon delivery, but maintains consistent quality.
