This is one of my top 10 Christmas songs of all time. In fact, Glen Campbell's "That Christmas Feeling" is one of the best 10 Christmas LPs from the baby-boomer golden age of Christmas albums from 1958-1974. I wish a record company (if Capitol Records won't do it, another company) would release this whole Glen Campbell Christmas LP on CD in the United States. Merry Christmas everyone!

What I love about this song, and indeed the entire album, is how simple the melody and lyrics are. Not mundane, but stripped of all pretense and anything extraneous leaving only the raw emotion that Glen Campbell reflects in his voice so perfectly. To the glancing listener it may seem too religious or even preachy, especially if you are more spiritually, pagan or secular based, but listen for the deeper cry for redemption and forgiveness from a power, any power, greater than himself. The man is raw and wounded and pleading to a child for help, and Glenn Campbell captures his pain and desperation perfectly. It moves me. I hope it does you as well...

Glen really nailed this song. I always liked his version of the song better than other versions. I highly recommend this song.
