Within these pages you remember what it feels like to dream, to hope, to feel alive and present. If nothing else, this book of treasures
will ignite a burning desire to knowingly fully experience every moment of your life and to keep precious, those moments, in your heart.
Before the book was even penned, Denise was prompting online conversations to "tell the stories", and people were eagerly responding, with delight, sharing memories from their past, touching a deep chord within me. It's my kind of thing to tell stories, to make memories on purpose, and to keep traditions alive. Naturally, I wanted "in", but life was crazy at home with a medical emergent timing. All that to say, I'm thriled there's now a published book, to read, and reread, to continue assisting in prompting my own story telling, and treasured memories.
The stories Denise shares in the book are poignant, oh so funny, some gutwrenchingly sad, and yet, all come full circle, and are so very heartwarming in a beautiful way. I found myself wanting to pull off a speed read through the chapters, then having to halt and ponder a while, heart swelling, smiles bursting forth, even a few giggles roared through my home. "Treasure" is one word I'd use to describe this must-have book. It's definitely a keeper for me!
