These are super cheap, easy to follow, and great for appropriate reading comprehension according to age. I found my son repeating some phrases and actually found his love for fish through the Adventures at Sea book from this series!
We went by the water recently where there were real fish and he was soooo excited he couldn’t get enough. And it’s all because he read these books!
Again, great buy. Super inexpensive, well worth it. Try them out and see how your kids respond. Of course every child is different, so it’s hard to say “every kid will like this,” because that’s just not true. But, this was amazing for my child, and might be great for yours too! Two thumbs up!
The bright colorful illustrations make it easy for our daughter to follow the story and stay focused.
We bought this story book along with the Berenstain Bears at the Aquarium. To show our 5 year old daughter what she would see at Sea World on our vacation. Both books are around the same price and tell the same story. I always liked the animation in the Mercer Mayer stories a little more than the Berenstain Bears. You might want to check both books out at your local library before purchasing the one you like best.
If you are trying to teach your little guys about fish this is a nice book to star with. I would rate it 4 stars.
