My 6 month old dwarf hamster, Lili, is in HEAVEN with this new Grosvenor cage that was shipped to me by Amazon UK to America in 4 days! I assembled it in about 20 minutes. You have to push the bars hard so they click, then everything is perfect. This is the most beautiful cage ever! It is 30 x 18 x 14 inches. That is 540 square inches of floor space. The second floor platform is 10 x 8 x 18 inches or close to 180 square inches of additional floor space. The base is 5 inches deep, for lots of bedding. My hamster is estatic! She is jumping off the platform for fun as well. Thank you for designing such a beautiful cage!

I had no problem securing on sides of cage although, and bar does not interfere with latching and securing. Followed the instructions precisely and the picture of grates in instructions are very different than the actual grates.
I will have to secure with zip ties in front and back of cage. MAJOR DEFECT: A hamster can push up and push on top and escape or possibly get injured.
I would have given a four to five star rating because this cage is huge and spacious enough for my Syrian hamster to roam around.
Unless I have managed to somehow not assemble the cage correctly, I will revise my review but as far as I see and others in my household have seen the finished product, I am unable to secure and latch with grates that were included in box. The safety of my hamster is more important than anything else.
Also, since this cage was not available in the USA, it was shipped via Amazon international UK and I payed an EXHORBITANT amount. I was very pleased with packaging which was secured in plastic wrap on the inside. Box was not damaged and very sturdy. Shipping and packaging FIVE STARS!

Really well made cage. Only wish there was a front door but it was easy to put together and the wire bars are tight enough for a roborovski hamster. ❤️ Wish shipping wasn’t so expensive and that the US would have this in stock. If shipping were “prime” in the US, I would buy more!

Bigger than I expected it to be, which is good. It comes with picture instructions only, but easy enough to figure out. You have to use something small to push the top down to get it to clip to the bars and it’s a bit tricky. The wheel and house that come with it are tiny. The house could be suitable for a dwarf hamster but I’m just going to throw away the wheel because it’s far too small for a hamster. Seems to be good quality and unclips from the tray so it’ll be easy to clean
