This ladder is sturdy and versitile. It can do a lot of stuff.
Perhaps my favorite part is how strong it feels. When I climb up, I don't feel any give. None. For a 230 pound man, it is comforting.
There are only two things that you need to consider when choosing if this ladder is right for you.
First, standing barefoot on this is tantamount to torture. I'm not sure how they did it, but they managed to design these to be incredibly uncomfortable to bare feet. You've been warned.
Second, this is HEAVY. Surprisingly heavy. Look at the weight and lift something comparable. Some of you out there will have a hard time moving it around. Im a tall strong guy, but even I can strain a bit when moving it around.
I've only had my Little Giant a short while, but it is out performing everything else I was using a crossed the board. The only "con" to this purchase was the price. These do tend to be a bit on the higher end, but are definitely worth it. I will get every single dollars worth, and then a million more out of this ladder before it sees the light of retirement.
If you can afford it, or stretch you budget a bit to reach it, I would definitely buy the Little Giant Alta-One over any other.
Honestly though, you should find an authorized dealer to try one out first, if you really need convincing.
