I ordered this because I needed a second ladder hook and I own the outstanding previous version (same price) that was made of steel and only used plastic as trim. The old version was very sturdy and I am still using it. I received this all plastic new version and was disappointed at the light, cheap feeling build quality. The new version is poor value for the money.
I mounted the new hanger (right next to the old one) and while it seems to work OK for now, it does not seem at all sturdy. I don’t expect much in the way of longevity. Little Giant please rerelease the old model.
