All could possibly be included; but I use it for students to depict themselves as legends and how they want their story to read to others.
The illustrations are beautiful and I love that he can draw his own little legend towards the back. I also love that they had so many legends to put in that they couldn't dedicate a whole page to everybody and had to start squishing them in towards the end. It gives the feeling of wow, how many more didn't make the book?
The book itself is just so classy, well thought out and well made. My only request is to make an easy read version for those under 8 years / have reading issues, but over 3 years.

A vitally important book for young children. Combat the bias before it has a chance to set in stone, it's the only way forward.
We need to know about our positive black leaders. This book informs, empowers and educates.
This book should be read in schools.
An expectational piece of literature.
Il permet de mettre en avant des figures emblématiques et inspirer les générations futures. Merci Mme Harrison !
