-It's cute
-It can be a wagon or a foot-to-floor ride on
-It has rubber coated wheels instead of those horrible all plastic wheels that most wagons come with. It ends up being much more quiet on the cement.
-It's easy to pull or to push from the handle.
-My 4 year old could manipulate it as a foot-to-floor much easier than our Step 2 foot-to-floor which never seemed to go straight. I can't even push that because it frustrated me.
-Has a cup holder for the child (although my daughters favorite sippy with the handle would not fit.) We should have no problem getting some that will.
-Did I mention that it's adorable? I've had so many comments about how adorable it is and how they've never seen anything like that before.
The not so great
-I was pretty disappointed in the "clip clop" box. I can sort of hear it if it's quiet (which doesn't really happen when you've got a bunch of kids playing) I'm not sure what I was expecting. A battery operated sound box would be 1000 times better. Considering most kid toy volume levels are outrageously loud, it shouldn't have been too hard to incorporate something similar and more suitable.
-The yellow on the reins isn't as nice as it shows in the stock pics.
-The parent tray isn't very deep. I doubt I'd trust my stuff to stay in there. A parent cup holder would have been nice, too.
-The floor board needs to be recessed a few inches, at least. It's fine now for my 18lb 12 month old but I can see the leg room disappearing fast. My 4 year old and 7 year old did fit inside for rides, although it looked silly because of how squished they were. (Still it was easy to pull, which is great)
-The center of gravity seems a bit high. I get nervous about tipping when my boys pull it over uneven ground.
I would buy it again for the cute factor but I would be much more impressed and happy with it if they improved it. I also realize that a lot of companies make their prototypes/stock pics look better than the actual product but I wish Little Tikes wouldn't.

But there are a few downsides. Assembly was rough with 3 helpers. Pretty much everything has to be assembled. Plan on an hour. Maybe more if you have "helpers" or typically have issues with tedious assembly. Another downside is the size of the trunk. It could be deeper. It's okay for a few happy meal sized toys. Not for stuffed animals or books or anything. The door is also a gamble. I should have probably mentioned this first because it is a safety issue. There is an option to "latch" it shut, but the door doesn't line up properly for it to be very secure. It is because of how the door attaches to the dashboard. I ghetto-rigged it by cramming a small cap in the gap between the carriage body and dashboard, so it pushed the dash down, and the door, which makes more of the latch overlap, making it shut more securely. But I still have to instruct the big girls to make sure the baby's back is against the wall opposite from the door when they pull her. Otherwise if they go around a corner and the baby's back is towards the door she will tip against it and it has fallen open a couple of times, one of which she toppled out. :( Also, the clip clop sound box could use a little redesign. It should clip-clop louder and more frequently. It's barely noticed in action. And my final beef with this toy is simply the fact that there is not a version that is non-pink/purple/princess. How cool would this be as a wild west horse carriage?
And FYI, you can get custom name licence sticker decals on Ebay for this carriage for cheap.
The hardest part about putting assemblying it was lining up all the stickers and trying to fit the two prices of the horse's mane together. There is a little gap in our horse's mane still, despite trying to get it to fit together. I worry it'll pinch her skin, scratch her if she falls on it, or collect water inside if it ever rains on a walk. Our door has also popped off once, but it was easy to put back on. I took off one star because I wish it was a little more well made.
Amazon has the cheapest price I've seen for this item as well. We've been looking at getting this for a few months and have compared prices from other stores in our area, too.

The light up horn makes a very loud annoying motor noise.
I have a 21 year old little tykes car and an 8 year old one and simply expect a long lasting functional toy from the company.. this is poorly made and could have been adapted to be better and safer.. a harness/seatbelt would have been excellent.
However it is very cute and sparkly and my 2 year old loves it.

Easy for a parent/adult to manouver.
Assembly was a bit challenging and disappointed with the click clap noise as its not working. Plastic part keeps getting stuck with the wheel, resulting in wheel not turning so i ended up removing the plastic part which makes the noise.
Door should have been made with a better lock which could open and close more efficently and easily.
The ride on is an eye stopper and i believe my little one will enjoy it for a good couple of years.
All the other children at her 1st birthday party loved it too
It took her dad hours to put it together
If you can afford it i would recommend paying for it to be put together
Just one problem the wheels don't make the clomping sound
