The issues facing little white squirrel are not unique to special needs children. They apply to kids who are struggling in any way; be it failing to excel in math, not catching on quickly in spelling or simply lacking in natural athletic abilities; all of whom just need a little more practice than others, preferably away from the watchful eye of their classmates.
I would highly recommend this book as a bedtime story or as an addition to anyone's library.
It is a beautiful book and a wonderful story, and I highly recommend it to everyone.
