I am so happy that you designed this book. Many parents feel that normal baby books don't fit the unique needs of premature infants, this book is perfect- Nicole Gosselin- NICU nurse at the Hartford Hospital in Connecticut
I work with NICU families every day, and I believe that this type of book would help them do more than just record milestones, it will give them back some of the control that they desire in this type of situation. This book is a treasure- Patricia Pearlman, RN, NICU Nurse and founder of Clare's Cupboard, Cooper University Hospital, Camden, NJ
From the Author
I created this book as a way for parent's to journal their time while their baby is in the NICU. Having a premature baby is one of the most stressful experiences you can have. It is a lonely and polarizing experience because the situation is completely our of your control and as a mother, that is maddening. Having had two preemies, I know first hand the emotions a parent feels while watching and waiting for their little one to grow and be able to come home. I created this journal with the understanding that not all babies will make that journey home though. The Littlest Peanut is meant to be a keepsake for all parents who would like to have a memory book of their child during this life-changing experience.
