On A Side note, if you're a RBF fan, DO NOT GET THE GREATEST HITS ALBUM... the audio suck, and it was made and released with out the bands permission.
If you have never heard Reel Big Fish be aware they are explicit. If you can get past that everything is great, the beat is very catchy and you will find yourself humming, tapping, or even maybe singing it through your day getting stares every time you walk by someone singing "I want you girlfriend to be my girlfriend".
First, because, Reel Big Fish's lineup changes so often I've put down the members of the band for this DVD.
Aaron Barrett - lead vocals, guitar
Matt Wong - bass
Dan Regan - trombone
Scott Klopfenstein - trumpet, keyboards, backing vocals, rhythm guitar
John Christianson - trumpet
Ryland Steen - drums
Now the tracklist:
"Your Guts (I Hate 'Em)"
"Turn the Radio Off"
"You Don't Know"
"The Set Up (You Need This)"
"Where Have You Been?"
"Ban the Tube Top"
"Snoop Dog, Baby"
"So Much for Rock and Roll"
"She Has a Girlfriend Now"
"Thank You for Not Moshing"
"Don't Start a Band"
"Talkin' Bout a Revolution"
"Take On Me"
Okay, now onto the review / comparison:
-This DVD, as well as the other two, has high quality audio
-This DVD, has guest rapper from Zebrahead come on stage with RBF to play "Unity", really good track, and only on this one
-This DVD, as well as "Live In Concert" are both great performances, basically it comes down to this: If you only want one buy this one, it comes with 2CDs of great live tracks by RBF because the quality of the two DVDs are about equal, if your a RBF superfan by both.
For older fans, it showcases their best work, with fresh recordings and pleasurable stylized versions of songs. These unique performances give a variety to those who already own the original CDs, and make the purchase worth it.
For new listeners, it invites you to see the breadth of their work. And, like a live show, it builds as it goes on, so listeners are encouraged to listen through to the end. This compelling nature of each track leading to another gives their music a great, fresh feel.
For the low cost of this album, and the immense length of it (over 3.5 hours), including a DVD with an entire show, make this a great deal all around. I can't think of another live album I've enjoyed so much.
Real and true showmanship.
The on stage banter between the band mates, how they're performances on stage are as tight as you would hear on their studio albums, along with the fact that they just play some fine good music together is well worth picking up this album. Not to mention, as mentioned in another review, the audio quality if EXCELLENT for a live album. It almost sounds like they brought a bunch of fans into the studio and recorded the album with them there. The mix is fantastic and the sound quality is beyond that of many other live albums I've heard in the past.
Some of their bits do come off as being very rehearsed, such as the many versions of SR, some of the between member banter, but still highly entertaining and well worth the money and then some.
Not to mention you not only get some of their best original material along with several of their best covers as well. I can't tell you how many times I've listened to this album and plan to see them again when they come to my neck of the woods in January.

Reel Big Fish sounds much better live than in the studio. Also, 30+ of Reel Big Fish's greatest songs in one album is a steal.Published on December 28, 2008 by Bob F.
Somehow Reel Big Fish got away without posting a Parental Advisory patch on this album, which is misleading because they swear like CRAZY. Read morePublished on November 17, 2008 by Cory J. Lewandowski
