I am pushing 70 not in bad shape but after taking one pill a day for about three weeks I felt I had more energy, I slept better, I feel less soreness in my knees. If I have one of those senior moments my recall time is very short. It would be nice to see the price reduced so apoor man can increase his dosage to two pills a day. I will continue to order the pills.

it really does work.....but....

I like it but there is a problem with consitancy. Some bottles are very effective and some are not. A problem in manufacturing is causing the formula to (1) something is causing niagen to go inert or not effective. (2) or the formula is not in the capsules and we are just getting the fillers. I am on my third bottle and because I know it's characteristics when it works . When I first took this I would take it about 4 am and lay down again and while laying there I can fell my blood speed up to the point of having to get up in about 40 minutes and get ready for my day and started doing 3 mile walks and now my energy has dropped. I told the company but there is no response yet. THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT, YOU QANT THIS ,But live cell research needs to check with Chromadex who makes it and check quality control. This is Body Maintenance near miracle . If you don't feel energy with in an hour like I do when the formula I had a great experience. call Live Cell Research and ask for a replacement bottle. I don't know what's going on with manufacturing but it should be handled quickly with enough complaints. You really want this in your life so stand up to Live cell research let them know if it's not working but also let them know when it is.

This is a continuing review, I am now going on my second month of use and I have already ordered my next few bottles( I don't want to run out ).
I have noticed a gradual and continuous increase in my energy, mental clarity and mood, the last is rather interesting and my have to do with feeling better mentally and physically.
As I stated in my 1st review if you are 20 year old body builder you may not notice anything, however if you are 40 and above and do not work out or have found yourself becoming lethargic as the decades pass I would recommended trying this product.
On a personal side note, I have had such good luck with this that I intend to get it as a gift for a few family members and friends I know.
If it works as well form for them as it has for me I can't think of a better gift!

P.S. I ordered the Niacinamide Vitamin B3 Cream Serum and amazingly that seems to work too!
I used it on the crows feet around my eyes and now they are tweety bird feet :)

Several months ago I learned I suffered from a Pre-diabetic condition caused by low hemoglobin in my cells. I began to take some supplements to address the issue. Subsequently, I stumbled across Niagen online and read reviews and studies regarding the product. For me, after less than 1 month I saw my sleep, exercise recovery time, energy, and mood improve tremendously. To boot, a bald spot on my head which had been getting worse and for which I had been trying shampoos, oils, etc. COMPLETELY DISAPPEARED!! My wife and barber both told me that they cannot even tell I EVER had a bald spot!!! I did not take this to regrow my hair, but it seems to have worked for me. The only thing I can attribute to the quality of life improvements with respect to the variability of and sheer quality of improvements must be due to the Niagen. I started with 1 per day for a few weeks, then 2 for some time and now 3. I am 6'8" and 225 lbs. It should be noted that without a sufficient diet this will cause irritability (some women who take it expressed irritability). All of those women did not have a proper diet and in fact do not eat enough. You cannot improve the condition of your body without eating properly! I am totally amazed by my results and having recommended it to others close to me I am floored by their results as well. If you are looking for 1 supplement to take THIS IS IT!!

I am 67 with a heart defect, have Diabetes now partly due to the 15 meds I am on for my heart, diabetes and osteoporosis and the side affects of these meds. I don't write a lot of reviews but felt it was important for this product if you're considering buying it. I think it takes a bit for this supplement to "kick in". I do in fact have more energy and generally feel better overall. That's a somewhat vague thing to quantify, but I am feeling quite good. I don't think 1 pill/day is the correct dosing-I took 1/day for a month and really did not feel a difference at all and was having high expectations for this product. Two/day made all the difference which makes this product....expensive! I am going to explore Elysiums Basis as the dosing may make it more cost effective. I do recommend this however. Get the right dosing and give it at least a month before you make a decision. The biggest way to see if something is making a difference is how you feel when you stop taking it.
