So my KD journey went like this:
I was reading Steve Jobs biography and found out that he went to meet Neem Karoli Baba in India but couldn't meet him.
So I started reading about Neem Karoli Baba and came across Krishna Das' name.
So I started looking into his albums and bought this.

I consider myself truly lucky to have found this album. I listen to Hanuman Chaleesa and Sita Ram every single day (and I didn't even know these before this album). There are all kinds of songs - from sanskrit chants to leg shaking numbers. Once you start listening, the songs will never leave you! I credit this to KDs immense devotion and purity of heart.

Do yourself a favor and buy this and listen for say, 10 times. Then judge for yourself.

I love this CD. Krishna Das has a beautiful voice and so do all the other singers. I especially like the Om Nama Shivaya cut. I'm a fan of all kinds of devotional music and Krishna Das is one of my favorites. It's happy music and as it cautions on the CD insert - be careful while driving - you may get caught up and forget the speed limit - so true!

Krishna Das is a master at bringing life and love to this world with his chanting. From the very first time I heard his voice I could not stop listening and chanting along. I usually have this CD cranked up loud in my car as I easily and calmly drive to my destinations sharing the road with gentleness and love.

Krishna Das deserves all of his great reputation.
I think we have most of his albums in CD.
If you've not tried Krishna Das, this is an excellent collection.
Disk 1, track 6, Hanuman Chaleesa, is a vehicle to bliss--every listening.
The listener need not understand a single word to fully enjoy these kirtan chants. They're all beautiful.
