Comment: Oscar G 'Live @ Space" 2 CD Set. To say this cd set is possibly both the best hard house and live house cd ever spun may be bold words, but this CD is a perfect sample of what Oscar G and Space (old and new) are all about !! Oscar G is truly one of the most under-rated top DJ talents PERIOD. The track offering on this cd is stacked with hard, pounding, thumping, make-you-stomp, danceable tracks that touch all the great flavors of hard house....with a Miami flare that afterhour party seekers everywhere truly appreciate. This is the stuff you hear INSIDE the club after all the good little boys and girls have long since gone to bed....its hard as nails, dark, sexy, and just a little scary with lots of DRUMS and tasty beats mixed up to a teeth grinding frenzy guaranteed to put a smile on your face. The vocal tracks are hypnotizing !! Oscar mixes in new spins on some old favorites (Donna Summer and Little Pills)...he drops in some incredible tribal beats and latin flare but weaves it into a hard house session that is absolutely unbeatable. Its a perfect snapshot of a night at Space....with Oscar G clicking on all cylinders !! Most Live CD's are "tinny" (meaning too treble oriented) and lack the audio/aural power that you hear in a studio mix. Not to fear here kiddies....this is SPACE and Oscar G.....this is the sound you can feel....so loud and yet so super clean you wonder why your ears don't bleed!! The remote mikes don't detract from the mix but allow you to taste the energy of the crowd....the claps, the cheers, and even local party monster Alvero's trademark siren/rooster call at 22 seconds into the second track. Tracks like "High", "The Wall", "Dru(m/g)s take Control" and my personal favorite..."Tonight" all put you right in the middle of the dancefloor or right up by the speakers (old Space). This album is the new benchmark for deep dark hard house! 26 Tracks.
