From the Author

"Livin' Just Enough" is my first published work. Originally released October 2003 through AuthorHouse and re-released Spring 2012, "Livin' Just Enough" begins the tale of Rachael "Baby Girl" Wallace, the center hub of the SistaGirlz. When I began writing this story, I had no idea that it would evolve into a series. I was just trying to get those thoughts out of my head and down on paper. As the series continues, you will see how Rachael's life is interwoven into the lives of pretty much everyone around her. Begin your SistaGirlz journey with Rachael in "Livin' Just Enough" as she decides which man she should choose: Aaron or Alonzo.

From the Back Cover

Rachael "Baby Girl" Wallace and Aaron Jones are childhood sweethearts headed toward their happily ever after until he dumps her and kicks her out!

Picking up where her ex left off, handsome, charming and debonair Alonzo Banks is just what Baby Girl needs to finally get Aaron out of her system.

When Aaron returns with one thing on his mind (getting his girlfriend back), he and Baby Girl soon learn that his grandmother is dying. As Baby Girl visits Big Mama on what turns out to be her last day on this earth, she is shocked by the older woman's dying wish: for Baby Girl and Aaron to marry! Hoping to make Big Mama's last thought a pleasant one, Baby Girl agrees. In turn, Aaron makes it his mission to do everything in his power to make his grandmother's (and his) wish come true.

Of course, Alonzo has a different idea of whose wishes will come true...

Definite page-turner. I read this book in less than 24 hours. Lea Mishell has a way of drawing you into the lives of the characters. I felt like I really knew these people and that I was a part of the story. I couldn't wait to find out what was going to happen next. You will find yourself rooting for both men even if you do have a favorite. I can't wait to read the other stories in the SistaGirlz series.

This e-book was very good. I loved loved loved Baby Girl!! She gets involved with her elementary school sweet-heart, Ron, and to say he spoils her is an UNDERSTATEMENT.She also comes in contact with a club owner named Alonzo who she madly start falling for. I don't want to give away any good detail, but just trust me when I say you should read the e-book!! :) I CANT WAIT UNTIL PART 2!!!!!!!!!

I liked this story. It was detailed but not so much that it was irrelevant. I hate what had to happen for 'baby girl' to get back to where she wanted to be. I felt bad for 'him' and I found it hard to believe that Aaron would go through to make her his woman even as she had feelings for another man. But it was well written the author did good.

When I purchased this book it was free. I thought the writing was good, but the story was a little unbelievable.

* What man would agree with his woman being in this situation?
* Being out with one man the night before you were to marry another man and allowing him to bring you home was a recipe for disaster (if things didn't happen the way they did).
* At age 21why are you worried about marring not just one man but two.
* How could Ron love her but play her to Napoli?
* Who goes to jail and tries to make the other person forget about them before they know how much time they are going to do?
* Big Mama couldn't pay the telephone bill - but she had a that much money to leave her family?

Baby Girl was confused, but why? She went from being a kept woman to making her own money and having friends.
Ron played her, who is to say in life once a person plays you they won't play you again when times get tight? Big Mama was wrong for making such a crazy will. Baby Girl should have taken door number one and ran.

throughout the story i was thinking much too often, "say what?" i felt the potential for a great story was there. but never was that potential executed and too many actions of the characters made me wonder "WHY??": where did big mama get all that money? why return to a lover who evicted you and was fine with pimping YOU out because he went to jail? why take alonzo "the good brutha" so for granted, if you love him? alonzo was so business smart yet he was willing to wait a year for the love of his life to be a wife to another man??????? why make such a big deal out of meeka "talking too much" and not follow through with her being aaron's snitch?? just too many balls dropped that could have MADE the book.
