Living with negative people is hard in the best of times, but at holidays? When you are an optimist or love to celebrate and are truly thankful? It can be painful. This book is filled with humor, but also practical help. Elizabeth Baker is a licensed counselor and her advice, wisdom, and insight can be a tool in the hands of those who are trying to positively love the negative people in their life. She explains the problems and the "why" behind them, as well as the strengths of someone who lives in a world where there is no silver lining. It helps you to appreciate the person more, know when and what to do, and how to connect and appreciate with those who see life in a different shade than you.

If you are a Tigger then you probably live or work with an Eeyore. This book is funny and articulate about how to handle the Eeyores in your life. Who knows you might even do a little dance after you read this because you will see them as a blessing and not the proverbial curse!

I love this book. Cannot believe I only paid $.38 and $3.99 shipping for it. It is so helpful in dealing with our negative self, which is ever so present, and realizing that even confirmed negativity can be a blessing. I hope you'll enjoy it as I have.

This book gives me perfect advice for living with and enjoying my eeyore of a husband. It really helped me realize what I can and can't fix, and how to communicate with him. It helps me love him even more. I just skip all of the religious references and skip around to the parts that attribute to me.

So much insite into my wife of almost 30 yrs.. LOL. She is an Eeyore fan of old and I got it as a prank for her collection.. How did I know it wouldnt offer so much insite and open my eyes to things I had joked about, or even gotten mad about in the past.. I would recommend this to any who are married to a red headed irish gal who comes from a family of 16 siblings.. The book is easy to read, straight forward and insiteful.. enough said.. LOL

I just finished this book, and I really appreciated it! It was full of advice and humour. Even though I think I know my own Eeyores fairly well, this book gave me additional tools for not just living with, but LOVING, my Eeyores. It hit the nail on the head, and really points out the fact that there is a PLAN in the grand scheme of life. There is a reason for Eeyores. I will definitely be recommending this book to others.

The book doesn't take long to read. ( my second time reading it)
Good counsel and helps on dealing with people regardless of whether they are Eeyores.

I thought it would have some humor as well as positive insights. No, very dry reads like a psychiatrist manual. It was so serious that after awhile I thought I was the one with the problem. Perfect for those who want to feel sorry for their lot in life. A snorefest!
