As an astrologer I find the myths incredibly necessary to understand the energy behind the symbols. Tom's book reveals the meanings behind some lesser known bodies including, Ceres. Pallas Athene, Juno, Vesta, Persephone, Lucifer, Lilith, Arjunsuri, and Ariadne. His teachings on Chiron are worth the cost of the book alone as he emphasizes layers of the myth that are unique as they are profound. His exceptional insights and unprecedented teachings reflect an emerging tributary in the river of astrology clearly necessary in our changing times.
Do you need to be an astrologer to appreciate this book? Absolutely not. He does mention certain astrological terms and descriptions but that is secondary to his message. What is primary is the knowledge and importance he places on healing yourself through greater self awareness. An awareness that can only be gleamed from a deep personal understanding of the myths you live daily.
