Mike Stone very unselfishly shares his personal story of dealing with the illness, the hospital, the recovery, and most of all the side-effects of medications. This is all told from the point of view of the patient (repeatedly he says "I am not a doctor") and gives a window on what any of us would face in the same situation. Having survived my own heart attack, I can endorse this as being an accurate description of a typical recovery. A lovely recounting of bike riding in Israel is an unexpected bonus.
He also includes web sites for free sources of information and further reading, including his own continuing blog of how it is going today.
If you or a loved one is dealing with heart disease, this book is well worth your time.

A well written personal report how Mike fought the med industry scams to recover and became healthy again - instead of staying sick as the usual treatment inflicts.

However, getting the right points and to set up your personal plan is very hard, since Big Pharma and probably your own doctors will resist or even blackmail you if you really want to recover. You can read about this in this book again.
Finally I would insert here a few selected links which can help you to build your own case once Mike's report made you think about natural medicine and changing your life style...
First, Mike's website [...]
Then the "Natural Medicine Bible" which gives you a nice and objective overview about healthy lifestyle[...]

Finally a remark to the stent whammy.
Stenting have been prohibited in 2011 in many states of the US by the law... and the recently introduced dissolving stents are a clear evidence of the former bad med practice. Just common sense. For people who got stented already life style changes like Mike did are critical. However there are herbs of the traditional Eastern medicin like Amla C (Ayruveda) and the Chinese Andrographis which adress re/stenosis recent research says
