I also appreciate the simple practicality of this book. Drs. John-Roger and Paul Kaye stress the value of taking one simple, small step toward improving our health and well-being. They go on to give us a multitude of steps to choose from.
I was particularly struck by the discussion on "Causes and Cures for Disease". The question that comes up for me is: What if the source of healing for my health challenges is found within one of these 12 causes and cures? I am excited to explore this section more fully using the exercises provided by the authors.
Thank you so much for this book - it is a ground-breaking read in the area of spirituality and health.

There are many "how-to" books about health, and now there is a book about how to engage our whole Self in the process of changing for the better.
It of course gives information on physical aspects of the body and on basic healing, but it then adds the deeper level of healing from the inside out. And after reading this book, you realize that ISN"T impossible to do. Just follow the instructions. It's very clear, with how to's and a workbook to follow, and you will be blown away by the experience and the new world you will discover within yourself!!
This book is a wake up experience. It's exhilarating and enlightening.
FInd out what is blocking you from total health, and as a side effect wake up to YOU, blissfully.
so far i've worked extensively with the first 2 principles outlined in the book: 1. working with and cooperating with the basic self, and 2. holding images of that that i want more of in my life.
in both areas i have observed large measurable change in my habits, and in my life.
this inner dialogue i have now with my basic self is supporting me in my eating decision, my exercise, my resting, working -- everything i do i seem to have more energy and more purposefulness and directed powerful energy because i am aligned and supported and in cooperation with my basic self.
i haven't finished it yet, but can't put it down, so am sure i'll be done soon.
love it. for those with a spiritual focus in your life and you're looking for more ways to bring this intention very practically into your days - in profound and far reaching ways - this book is for you. AND for those who want to be healthier. which is probably everyone - and HAPPIER - this book is also for you.

Rather than feeling lectured or burdened with to-do's, don't do's, lists, menus, and exercise charts...I am receiving guidance, loving, and support. Somehow, this book gets my cooperation. I am enjoying taking in the information, having fun deciding what to do next with it in my life.
Great choice for those of us who approach life as a blend of spiritual and practical daily choices.
