This grass is fine (if a bit small for the price) other than one problem: The color is not at all as pictured. I was looking for a bright spring green, the product I recieved was a dark evergreen color. This "christmas green" does not work in our space so I had to return the item. If you don't care about the hue, it might work for you.
My original plan was to grow my own wheat grass and then place it in a bamboo box in the middle of my kitchen table as a centerpiece. This was too much work. Real wheat grass needs constant watering and can begin to smell. This fake wheat grass was exactly what I needed. It looks real and requires zero upkeep! I was able to easily cut the mat to the size I needed using scissors. I am very happy with this product.

I purchased this as an art project rather than for an aquarium. Each section of blade grass is grouped and can be removed from the bottom by just pulling it out of the hole. Looks very realistic.

Very nice artificial wheat grass, this is as good as some of the ones I've bought from Home Decorators and Crate & Barrel - with this one you get to pick the size and shape of your container/pot you want to put it in. My recommendation is buy some foam and cut it to the shape of your container and then glue or staple this into the foam. Neat.
