I bought this with the hope that I would find some resources to help with the issues confronting us here in Florida. From that perspective, the publication supported the intents. Since I am a self-taught layperson on karst the book provided little additional learnings for me. If however, you are starting to understand karst and what it means to your water or neighborhood this book is a good primer.

This book is very well written and a most pleasant way of learning about the joys and sorrows of living on a karst rich area.

I was amazed at how many areas in the country are affected by this action......very good explanations without over technical theory.
