Living World Deluxe Habitat is a rabbit cage that provides everything you need for safely housing rabbits. This small animal pen is also suitable for use as a guinea pig cage, hamster cage, ferret cage, and chinchilla cage. The hybrid cage, consisting of an upper wire frame and a plastic bottom base, provides a safe, well ventilated, and comfortable place for small pets. The wire cage is elegantly styled, with an arcing red wire top and white wire sides. The wire top opens easily in 2 separate parts for easy access inside the cage. There is a wire door at the front for additional accessibility. Includes a balcony with an access ramp and a tip proof food dish that secures to the balcony floor. The food bowl is the perfect cage accessory to add to your rabbit food, rabbit treats, guinea pig food, guinea pig treats, ferret food, ferret treats, chinchilla food, chinchilla treats, hamster food and hamster treats. There is also a hideaway space under the balcony to provide your small pet with a quiet and secure hiding place. Some folks complain about the flooring not being flat and being hard to clean, we actually like that it is. We use a mini broom to clean it. Also love the fact the top opens on either side. Our kids open the front to give treats to our 2 Guinea pigs. This is by far the best pen we have had (we had 2 others before this). Highly recommend!

Because of some of the reviews I was really worried that it would arrive cracked or missing pieces, but it arrived without any damage or issues. I didn’t have too much trouble assembling. The instructions were easy to follow.
I had a cheap, crappy C&C cage previously and I hated it. I hated everything about it. So ugly I couldn’t stand looking at it.
This is defiantly an upgrade!
The fact that it was made in Slovakia and not China was a plus too. I try my hardest to avoid China made items, but it is hard because Amazon doesn’t tell you where things are made. Sometimes you can look at the question & answer section and someone will say.
Like some of the other reviews, I made a few modifications…
*I didn’t use the water bottle. I never even tried it. The one I already had is bigger and thicker plastic, so I just stuck with that.
*I am using the food/hide out area, but I am not 100% sure if I will keep it up. I am thinking I will remove it once I decide what I want to put in it’s place.
*I did use the hay trough. I spills a lot of hay, but I have them in an area that I sweep a lot already, so it is no big deal. I plan on getting a hay bag in the future.
*I don’t use the top doors. They don’t open all the way. I clean the cage a lot and I need access without them in my way. I put the trim and everything else on as normal and just put the red wire doors aside. I have coordinating fleece I use on the bottom and have another piece I use on the top it looks great.
*I put my cage on top of a fold up table, so I have storage space under. I like the way it looks and it takes up less space.
I know some people will rant and say it isn’t big enough, but my pigs have enough room that each of them has a spot to themselves and some run around area. As long as you give your pigs floor time I don’t think it is a big deal. Who has enough space for a 6ft long cage ? Not me! I live in a small 1930s bungalow city house and space is at a premium!
I will update after I have had for some time, but so far I am happy with my choice.

UPDATE: I have had this for many months now and it still looks and works great.
No issues at all. I did remove the food area and built something else in its place that was easier to clean under and I grew annoyed with their hay thing. I just put the hay in a pile and they eat it…
I use biokleen BAC OUT (available by the gallon on Amazon. It takes the stank out of darn near anything and doesn’t harm pets.) to spray the tray when I clean it. Not much gets on the tray because of the good bedding I use, but a little leaks out and Bac Out takes care of it. Get some, it is awesome!

My Guinea pigs love the cage and it was easy to assemble but the little sliding door doesn’t open but if you have kids it’s perfect then cause the only way to open the cage is by the top with locks blocking if so say they are outside you don’t have to worry about the cage opening by an animal

I really like this cage! I’ve had a ferret nation for a long time and while it’s a great cage, it’s frustrating without sides.
I bought two, I have a boy and girl.
The instructions aren’t great, they could do with better written instructions and larger pictures. Regardless, I was able to build this cage in 30 minutes, the second cage in under 15.
This cage is sturdy and I like the big access through the top.
I appreciate how high the sides are, keeps the mess in.
The bars are more spread out, keep that in mind as it may affect how your water bottle attaches. Mine would not work with the bars so I had to use the ones provided which I don’t see lasting long. But will get me through until I buy better ones.
I did not use the provided platform, I don’t need my guineas up above the sides that keep their mess in.
But they seem sturdy and the “stairs” seem to poke out enough to be useful.
I researched a lot of cages, I needed something worth buying two of. This cage has met all my expectations, I see it lasting for many Guinea pigs to come.
My cage arrived with no damage, but I do see how it can be easily damaged due to poor internal packaging. Probably would hurt to add some extra padding in there.
Overall I love this cage, it’s huge and affordable.

Question about parts

I purchased the X-Large for my new Bunny. I had to do it myself and for the most part, I think I did a fairly good job. However, one of the black v shaped snap in’s … snapped. The water bottle was proving too problematic. But my biggest question is I followed all directions. One the one side the gage is clipped closed to security. But when I open the lid , it’s flying off from the other end. I tried to snap it in, secure it in… what have I done wrong? I can’t lift the lid and have it fall onto my rabbit .

I am liking this Hutch and my rabbit "Moy" seems to like the space.
My concern is for the top of the hutch. The plastic rim seems to be caving inward a bit. I would advise people not to place anything on top of the Hutch. Due to the size size and length the center of the top could use reinforcement.
Wheels would be nice as well. My Hutch came with them but they seemed to be to small for the Hutch and there was no way to attach them. The wheels weren't apart of the instructions either.
It's still a nice home for Moy.

This is a great cage for several reasons.

1. Spacious for 2 adult pigs especially if you don't have room to build larger enclosures and prefer cage style.

2. Super sturdy, you can pick it up by the cage and it will hold, also easy to disassemble top half from bottom when cleaning.

3. It's aesthetically pleasing, the neutral colors make it easy to put in open spaces where it can be seen without being an eye sore.

I've provided a video and photos, I hope this helps people make up their minds :) .

If I could give this product more stars I would, I have owned rabbits my whole life and this cage is by far the greatest in every way. I have had some very expensive very complex rabbit condos but this is by far my favourite, easy to put together, easy to clean, easy to access your pet and easy for them to move around in, I have the XL and a medium sized 10 year old rabbit. This cage is perfection and is worth it!
I might also add it is well made, sturdy and extremely solid once all of the clips and everything are in place. I have read some comments that putting this together was difficult, my four-year-old daughter helped me do this so I can assure you it is very simple to put together!

My rabbits love it. They have enough room to run back and forth when they get excited. The top is convenient for getting in to clean it without having to take it apart. It is also quite sturdy seeing as my one cat has a tendency to walk around on the perimeter of the top. The side door is nice to have as well. I leave it open when at home so my bunnies can go in and out of the cage as they please. The cat also likes to go in for visits if the bunnies don't come out, and the dog can stick her head in to greet them as well. The locks on the top are pretty dumb and pointless, so I don't even bother with them. Also, the water bottle it comes with has a horrible holder to attach to the cage; it falls off constantly when the bunnies drink from it, so I have to put it back on multiple times a day. Instead, I now just put water in the food dish it comes with, which the bunnies are happy about. Overall good cage.

Hard to clean, too large for Guinea Pigs

It took two of us quite a while to assemble this - definitely not the "minutes" promised on the packaging! When assembled, the lid doesn't seem to sit quite right. Otherwise, the cage appears to be fairly good quality. For our two Guinea Pigs, this cage provides a nice amount of floor space, but WAY too much head room. Our piggies don't seem comfortable climbing the "stairs" to the bowl ledge, so we've ended up putting their bowl on the main floor area instead. Cleaning is a complete pain. The cubby area is pinned down by the cage, so you have to take the whole thing apart to clean under it - which means deconstruction twice a day! The floor has a textured grid pattern, which also makes wiping up messes more messy & more work. Given the extra cost of this cage, you'd think it would be designed to make your life easier, not harder!

El tamaño de la jaula (XL) es excelente para uno o dos conejos enanos, o uno de tamaño normal. El material de la base es un poco delgado pero no es un problema. Las rejas se sienten resistentes. El armado de la jaula toma un poco de tiempo, pero las instrucciones son claras.
Sobre los accesorios no puedo comentar porque no usé ninguno.
