About Lizbeth Selvig
Award-winning author Lizbeth Selvig writes heartwarming, sexy-sweet small town and contemporary western romance. Her strong, fun and funny characters don’t mind poking at societal norms even while they’re finding their ways home to family and love.
Lizbeth turned to fiction writing after working as a newspaper journalist and magazine editor, and raising an equine veterinarian daughter (handy, since there are usually too many horses in her stories) and a talented musician son (also handy because she’s been known to write about rock stars).
Lizbeth shares life in Minnesota, where her first book series is set, with her best friend (aka her husband, Jan), her two pretty horses, Jedi and Largo, three human grandchildren, and her four-legged grandkids of which there are over twenty, including two alpacas, two small goats, a mammoth-eared donkey, two miniature horses, a pot-bellied pig, and many dogs, cats and regular-sized horses (pics of all appear on her website www.lizbethselvig.com).
In her spare time she loves to hike, quilt, read, and horseback ride. She also loves connecting with readers—so contact her any time!

He never wanted to be in Scotland at all.
A family curse, though, says otherwise.
Ainslie Campbell’s life should be idyllic. She has a fulfilling career as a respected and well-loved veterinarian in her hometown., the adoration of three imperfect cats and a happy dog named after a TV star, and the gorgeous landscape of the Scottish Highlands to comfort her. She also has debt growing by the day, a house about to be sold from under her, and guardianship of her rebellious – and also pregnant – teenaged sister.
But there is a glimmer of hope: Catrione Kerr, her feisty godmother, invites Ainslie to move into Craigwarren, Catrione’s family home, and one of Ainslie’s favorite places. There’s one catch. She’ll have to temporarily share the house with an American businessman and Catrione’s long-lost heir, Ewan Portman.
Ewan, like his father before him, has no desire to live in Scotland. Ever. He’s already had to put his dream career on hold to sort out this unexpected and unwanted inheritance. Eager to get back to the States and his well-ordered life, he’d prefer to walk away from the old pile, despite the objections of his mesmerizingly beautiful Highland housemate.
Scotland, however, has its own plans, and soon ancient legends of a kelpie in Craigwarren’s loch, a brownie sprite who lives in the barn, and a family curse only he can break, immerse Ewan in an unfamiliar, but enchanting world that leaves both his dreams and his heart vulnerable to Highland magic . . . and most especially Ainslie.
Except Ewan can’t stay in Scotland forever, not with his future at stake. Nor can he fix all Craigwarren’s problems, no matter how desperately he might want to.
Even Highland magic has limits to its power.

The Gambler wants what’s owed to him …
Small-time poker player Ty Garraway is determined to break his family’s legacy of abuse and abandonment, and give his young daughter a hope for the future he’s never had. Can they bet it all … and defy the odds?
Grace’s relentless honesty and devotion to family—not to mention the way she turns him on—has Ty thinking too much with his heart. Ty’s passionate love for his daughter and his encouragement of Grace’s half-baked ideas—not to mention his knee-weakening kisses—has Grace wondering if she’s found her unlikely match in a rough-around-the-edges cowboy. But when Ty’s plans are exposed, can Grace forgive the liar who manipulated her and her family and forgive herself for being duped?
Love has raised the stakes, requiring Ty to bet everything he has to win Grace and his future, but will it be enough?
