About the Author
Michael Thomas Brimbau is co-founder and poetry editor for The Literary Hatchet. He is a life-long resident of Massachusetts, born in Lizzie Borden’s Fall River. Shortly after retiring from the telecommunications industry, he began extensively studying the Borden murder case. While writing The Girl with the Pansy Pin, Michael simultaneously worked on a play about the trial of Lizzie Borden, titled By the Naked Pear Tree. A lover of poetry, this is his first attempt at writing fiction. Michael is also the author of The Sadness I Take to Sea, a book of poetry.
