Blog postHi everyone. How are you all? I spent yesterday with my daughter and we built my new outdoor writing space at home. It was almost as expensive to have built as it was to buy it, so we decided that we could do it ourselves! Lol:)
We spent six hours making the gazebo, which arrived in what seemed like a thousand different pieces. The sense of achievement when it was built, was immense. I haven’t laughed so much for ages and even the dog kept bringing the ball because we were laugh1 month ago Read more -

Blog postHello everyone. I hope you’re all well. This week I’ve been trying to work out how to use Facebook more efficiently and install the correct coding for my website to connect the two. It’s taken me weeks to finally understand what I needed to do, and then it literally took me about 5 seconds to add the code! It’s weird how you can look at something for so long and not understand it, then the fog clears, and it suddenly makes sense. Doh! Before that it was complete gobbledygook.

Blog postHi everyone. How are you? I added a post to my book group about providing a “behind the scenes look” for readers to our blogs, once or twice a month and it has made me think that it’s been a while since I added some photos about my own writing routine!
As you might already know, I write from a small office at home in the evenings and a studio in a nearby town, during the day. My writing buddy, Pepper, is usually asleep by my feet, or creating unusual hairstyles by rolling around3 months ago Read more -

Blog postHello everyone. I hope you’re all well? I’ve been updating my website and social media branding and working on the sequel to my book, The little ice cream shop by the sea. I’ve written around forty thousand word so far, but there still seems to be so much more to write! This can be the point where procrastination sets in for me, but as i’m excited about the storyline and revisiting old characters as well as new, it’s keeping me motivated to finish the book. Titles By Lizzie Chantree
'Rarely has a book held my heart in its hands the way If You Love Me I’m Yours has. An incredibly uplifting romantic story that has had me laughing and crying over and over again.'
'Oh my, what a wonderfully sublime book; my heart soared.'
'This is not a roller coaster ride so much as a ghost train of soul searching and I defy anyone not to feel a part of it, to recognise something of themselves.'
‘If you love me, I’m yours…’
Maud didn’t mind being boring, not really. She had a sensible job, clothes, and love life… if you counted an overbearing ex who had thanked her, rolled over and was snoring before she even realised he’d begun! She could tolerate not fulfilling her dreams, if her parents would pay her one compliment about the only thing she was passionate about in life: her art.
Dot should have fit in with her flamboyant and slightly eccentric family of talented artists, but somehow, she was an anomaly who couldn’t paint. She tried hard to be part of their world by becoming an art agent extraordinaire, but she dreamed of finding her own voice.
Dot’s brother Nate, a smoulderingly sexy and famous artist, was adored by everyone. His creative talent left them in awe of his ability to capture such passion on canvas. Women worshipped him, and even Dot’s friend Maud flushed and bumped into things when he walked into a room, but a tragic event in his past had left him emotionally and physically scarred, and reluctant to face the world again.
Someone was leaving exquisite little paintings on park benches, with a tag saying, ‘If you love me, I’m yours’. The art was so fresh and cutting-edge, that it generated a media frenzy and a scramble to discover where the mystery artist could be hiding. The revelation of who the prodigious artist was interlinked Maud, Dot and Nate’s lives forever, but their worlds came crashing down.
Were bonds of friendship, love and loyalty strong enough to withstand fame, success and scandal?
A gorgeous seaside romance, full of humour, family life and second chances at love.
Heart-broken, Genie, has lost everything, including her confidence. Living in a tiny corner of paradise and running a pretty little ice cream shop, has been her life for as long as she can remember, but suddenly her mother wants to sell to developers and leave their shared history behind.
Determined to buy the café, Genie finds the courage to accept an unconventional investment offer from customer, Ada, who has a mysterious past and a gorgeous but distracting grandson. Ada feels that Genie and her grandson, Cal, will work well together, but sparks fly and tempers are lost.
Working in a seafront business with its fiery owner, is the only way Cal can think of, to keep his ex-Hollywood glamour-puss, gran from harm. Cal, wants to protect his grandmother from Genie, but soon realises that living in a picturesque seaside town and away from the paparazzi in Hollywood can actually give him time to heal and could even offer him his own happily ever after.
Learning to love herself and find success on her own is Genie’s first step. But when long-lost dreams are reignited, will she be able to trust someone new with her heart?

.

Can true love blossom from the most deceptive of starts? Can someone who feels lost, find a way to flourish against all odds?
‘Lots of twists and turns, so I found it hard to put the book down. Very enjoyable to read as it kept me guessing!’ – Amazon review.
'There are lots of laugh out loud moments and I didn’t expect to be smiling the whole way through. The ending was totally unexpected.' ★★★★★ Amazon review

From the international bestselling author of The little ice cream shop by the sea, If you love me, I'm yours and Babe Driven.
Obsessive-compulsive school mum, Skye, is running from her past whilst trying to protect the future of her child. She tries hard to fit in with the other parents at her son’s new school, but the only person who accepts her unconventional way of life is new mother, Thea.
Thea is feeling harassed by her sister and bored with her life, but she suspects that there is something strange about the new school mum, Skye. Thea has secrets of her own and, although the two become unlikely friends, she hesitates to tell Skye about the father of her own child.
Zack’s new business is growing faster than he could have dreamed but, suddenly, he finds himself the owner of a crumbling estate on the edge of a pretty village, and a single parent to a very demanding child. Could he make a go of things and give his daughter the life she deserved?
When three lives collide, sparks fly and romance blossoms, but it appears that only one of them is who they seem to be, and you never know who the person next to you in the school playground really is.
'As always the main characters fizz and entrance, with underdogs and divas, harassed hunks and devilishly attractive but flawed rogues... The espionage aspect helps the seemingly workaday schoolyard environment along famously with catty cliques and beastly little brats, as well as adorable, yet still edgy kids.
If you haven't had the pleasure of reading one of Lizzie's books yet - treat yourself! She gives Jilly Cooper a run for your money in the racey stakes, coupled with the knowing charm of Jane Austen, in hilarious settings with characters that show contemporary chick-lit romances can hold their own when it comes to ballsy, brash behaviour!' ★★★★★ Amazon reviewer
