Turning forty is a milestone. Lizzy never imagined how life changing this year would be. She's a strong, independent woman who thought she knew exactly what she wanted. Then one drunken night, she discovered she wanted more.
Putting an ad in the paper to find yourself a man willing to help you make yourself a baby, with no strings attached, seems like a crazy thing to do. That is until the most perfect man ever responds to her ad. Maybe her friends won't be killed slowly for their little prank.
Braun is just the guy for the job. A man on the verge of billionaire success, he is willing to step up and give Lizzy exactly what she needs. No strings, just a baby. So he gets to indulge his every fantasy with this gorgeous woman until the deed is done and then they both walk away. This nerdy, tech guy feels like he's living in a dream.
The chemistry in intense. Their passion for one another is overwhelming in the best way. Both of them get way more than they bargained for. Lizzy has never had a real relationship and she has no plans for one ever. Things are getting complicated because feelings were never part of the contract and she's running scared.
I loved both of these characters. Braun definitely had the swoon factor. The man was a total catch. Handsome, brilliant, and driven, but also sweet and romantic. Lizzy had always thought she would be alone because she was afraid of being hurt. At times I wanted to strangle her as she battled with herself. It was time for some soul-searching to decide whether or not Braun was worth the risk.
A great group of women who don't need a man, but may just want one. Searching for the fairy tale will get us some laugh out loud moments as well as highlight friendships of your ride or dies. A great start to a series about independent women.
