If you love Local H then you'll like their live playing. They don't sound the same live cuz they lack another guitarist/bassist but there sound and presence is felt with each and every song. And in the end you'll get a cover song of Britney Spears' "Toxic", it's a cacthy, heavy-riffed remix of her song. All in all you'll enjoy this song-packed cd
Alive '05 is NOT one of those. Local H is one of the best live bands I know of, and this quality carries over to this album. A must-have for the fans, and anyone who's into live grunge.
It's interesting that this album and the last three Local H albums have all been released on different record companies. It's great that after all this time, not at all being multiplatinum bestsellers, that these guys still do what they do. LIVE 05 has to be their best album. You'd rarely say that about a live album, but with this band it's no surprise. This is the only way to truly capture the energy of this band, and this album shows you why they are one of the last few real rock bands in the world right now, and why they're the only band that deserves the success they've never had.
