Provides adhesion to most common construction materials. Designed for sub-floor installations. Can be used on polystyrene foam, wood, metal, fiberglass, masonry, ceramic tile, marble, osb and most common types of building materials. Resistant to moisture, dampness and temperature changes. Fast cure. Non-staining. Meets afg-01 astm c 577, astm d 3498 and conforms to hud um 60a specifications. With a 1/4 inch bead 10.2 oz cartridge covers approximately 30 lin. Ft. And a 29 oz. Cartridge covers approximately 90 lin. Ft.

I use this glue for all sorts of interior and exterior projects. When I want to be sure things are going to stay stuck together until the sun turns into a red giant, this is what I use. One big project I used it for was to resurface a brick wall with natural stone. The glue held the rocks, some being very heavy, tightly in place prior to final grouting.

I really like this product, when it's fresh enough to use. But buyer beware when getting individual cartridges from Amazon. I bought several of these, shipped and sold by Amazon, and the ones they sent were so old, the design on the package was different from the one in the picture (and in stores). A few were rock hard, and they all felt expired. I returned all of them. If you order, make sure you were shipped ones that haven't passed their shelf life, or try to find them by the case instead of singles. Be careful in the retail stores too, sometimes you'll find hard ones there too. The adhesive, when applied, should be gooey and flow easily (assuming it's not super cold).

Also: it expands a little, in my experience, as it cures (just in the first 12 hours or so), so keep that in mind. Works well with foam board.

The Loctite PL 3X adhesive was a great price at Amazon. Until it arrived. Here is a picture of the five tubes that I received. The ends are crushed, and seem to have ben exposed to water at some time. The cardboard containers (cylinders) have deterioration that comes from excessive moisture. The contents are RIOCK hard. I did not bother attempting to test them to see if anything flows out. I attempted to decipher the factory numbers on the bottom metal cap. From what I can determine, it seems as though these may be 19 years old. A bit longer than the one year expected shelf life.

I made the mistake of re-ordering replacement tubes, but will probably send them back for a refund. Sometimes, it is just better to pay a bit more and actually get something you can use, and is not WAY out of date.

Worked on stone retaining wall

I'm a novice at things like this, but we had several loose stones on our retaining wall. After a lot of research, I gave this product a try. We didn't follow the directions completely (you're supposed to clean and dry the stones, but the bottoms of the stones were caked with dirt and gunk). We brushed away the dirt as best we could in order to get a clean surface. Then put a lot of this stuff on the bottom. Placed the stone back in place, and put heavy items on top for a couple of days. It seems to have worked perfectly. The stones are once again solidly in place, and we haven't had any issues in the ?three? months since we applied it. We used almost the entire can, and threw away the rest based on other reviews that said that the stuff would basically become useless once opened. I've purchased another can just in case we have any other problems.

Use sparingly. This stuff is STRONG. The best construction adhesive I've used, and I've tested it thoroughly. Pay attention to specified applications, and you'll be satisfied. Way better than liquid nails.

I purchased this to fill the mounts on my Toyota Corolla after watching a youtube video on filling vehicle mounts. I did not remove the original rubber but just filled in the extra space with this. It works like a charm. There is more vibration that would be with the OEM when new but I like this and I have no intention of throwing out the filled ones and getting a factory replacement. this takes 24 hours to dry and is very sticky... I was not able to get a really smooth finish but it did the job. if you have left over after cutting the nozzle, just tape it with a strong scotch tape and it will last a long time before hardening in the tube.
