Cast iron is the perfect medium for baking. The cast iron heats up evenly and retains the heat for superior cooking results. This cast iron loaf pan results in a golden brown bread crust every time you bake. Also fantastic for meatloaf as well. Super durable you can use this to hold smoker chips for your bbq or even as a unique jello mold. The handles on each end make it easier to lift the pan in and out of the oven. Seasoned and ready to use. Preseasoned pan helps to make cleaning easy.

My friend saved the day with his, "AHA! idea. He pointed to his electric range burner and told me he wanted to put it atop the coil, with both seemingly Siamese(d) twinned together. He said that the heat will expand the bottom one, and we should be able to remove more easily. I was very hesitant, and since my friend knows nothing about cooking, stressed to him how quickly cast iron gets hot. I was busy doing other things, and stressed to him, don't move from area, if you do this, because cast iron heats so quickly. Less than 5 minutes later, I returned and delighted to say his idea worked. Very grateful that my friend also heeded my advice to have the more heavy duty BBQ gloves on hand to pry apart, once heated. He agreed, task much to hot for the average kitchen mitt.
On the upside, fulfilled an idea of mine to make use of charcoal on the grill, not wanting to heat it up, and simply use it on a few burgers. I wanted to do one of my fave styles of cooking with "do ahead" and make two meatloaves on the BBQ grill. The meatloaves came out awesome, with slightly smokey flavors, in that I threw a few pieces of mesquite on the BBQ too. I tried a few slices, and it was the best of both worlds with somewhat of a smoked burger flavor, but with sliced convince of meatloaf. Froze the rest for later use. I used ground round for minimal shrinkage in meatloaves, and happy that I did. Add the binding, and other ingredients of your choice with traditional meatloaves, some finely chopped onion gives nice moisture too. I would go for a high quality BBQ to finish meatloaves the last 15 minutes with a basting.
Regardless of indoor or outdoor cooking with meatloaf, highly suggest not having it cooking in undesirable fat, etc. App. 30 minutes into cooking, it starts to render fat. Easiest way to deal with this is a simple method of draining it. I highly suggest updating your likely outdated "turkey baster" to this product, with thinking, "outside the box." for other uses. This item works perfectly with quickly taking away excess fat from your meatloaf, without having to remove pan from oven or BBQ.
All this company needs to do is provide inexpensive styrofoam mold between pans to avoid the problem of them being stuck together.
