Very useful if you need to draw logos

I think this is a great product if you like to do art that involves tracing another piece.

I bought it to draw some logos on a piece I was making because they needed tone very crisp. And it turned out very nice. The paper is easy to use, just put the "dirty" side down, tape image on top and tape both really well so they don't move. I used a mechanical pencil with medium pressure and the lines transferred onto my piece very nicely.

However, you do have to make sure not to rest your hand on the image or some of the transfer might end up on your piece in little blotches, but that makes sense considering the product.

The only downside is that I feel the product is expensive for only 4 sheets. It was enough for my project, but I would have liked more sheets for the price.

Overall, this is a great product.

I'm not the best sketch artist, but if I get finally get sketch right, after lots of erasing, I REALLY don't want to have to draw it out again on my canvas. That's where this handy paper comes in. I just place it on my blank canvas and put my sketch on top and trace over my drawing and them I'm ready to paint. Some day, I hope to get a classroom projector so I can change the scale from my sketch to a larger canvas.

I’ve been using Saral Blue for several years. It always got all over the place. This comes flat, which makes it very easy to transport and store as opposed to the Saral. There are several sheets in the pack, but I can use and reuse a single sheet many, many times.

I use this paper for transferring drawings on bone dry clay which I then carve. It is NOT waxy. It is carbon. It can be carefully erased off the surface. The only transfer paper I use.

Better luck rubbing graphite behind what you need to transfer

Not sure about these reviews. I tried to use this to transfer images onto wood and it is so faint it is basically useless. I've used other carbon paper that actually transfers clearly. You are better off saving money and just rubbing graphite on the back of what you need to trace/copy and then tracing it to transfer the image.

Works wonderfully!! I use mine to trace and make my own wooden signs. Transfers nicely onto both painted and unpainted wood surfaces. You can also use the same sheet multiple times (which rocks). When I use this batch of paper I will definitely purchase more.
