As part of a growing population that feels dissatisfied with social media, technology burnout, and failing to experience the real world right outside my door, Log Off is a nice reminder to turn off the noise and experience life in analog again.
Log Off is a quick and easy read. It will certainly give you pause at moments when you realize just how distracting our connected lives are. Blake tends to rely on his personal experiences to drive home some of his ideas on how to tackle the subject of finding offline life balance, but with Blake’s ability to write concisely, I would have preferred if Log Off included more sourced material from behavioral studies to drive home key aspects of the book.
If you are looking for ways on how to regain control and find balance in your fast-paced connected life, Log Off is a great read to give you ideas on how to start today.
In addition to telling his own personal story and struggle with subject, the author does a great job in providing practical tactics that you can implement to 'take the power back'. If you're looking for help in reclaiming your sanity and put some much needed balance back in your life, you should read this.
It's an enjoyable, easy read that everyone can benefit from.
