I have been a student of heart-thinking for the past 7 years, have the heart-thinking version of the Philosophy of Freedom and Das Erwecken das Herz Chakra (both from Florin Lowndes), and have been reading (sometimes both of) them daily, but have always felt that my inadequate german was a barrier to getting the full experience.
Well, with this book I feel I have circumvented this barrier.
This book is a wonderful exposition (in English, no less) of the heart-thinking method, and not only explains how to 'see them' in the text, but how to create your own HT (heart-thinking) forms!
Also included are analyses of several well know pieces of beloved literature from the HT perspective. Who knew that the Gettysburg address was actually composed (even if unconsciously) according the HT levels! The Gospels? The Lord's prayer? Yes!
If you are interested at all in Heart-thinking (as discovered by Rudolf Steiner), you can do yourself no better service than reading this book.
I can't speak too highly of it.
Rudolf Steiner wrote his books to help people learn how to write and think in a new way. In chapter 4, you can see examples on how to organize your own paragraphs and chapters in this powerful heart-logik style. You would be in good company since William Blake, Lincoln, and Plato used this method in their work. If Mark is correct, then the world is waiting for a new way of thinking that has existed for a long time, but was not talked about clearly until Rudolf Steiner and others made it into a system.
The Logik also covers meditation, Waldorf education and Christianity according to this perspective.
