I replaced the 300 watt power supply in my PC with this. Two weeks later my PC started shutting down randomly, I tried a bunch of troubleshooting and finally tried switching out this power supply with the old 300 watt one. Turns out it was the power supply. I guess you get what you pay for. Lesson learned.

Had an old desktop sitting in the corner needing a new power supply unit. This product caught my attention as the price was to my liking making the resurrection of the old desktop a workable option. The dual fan feature allowed me to remove an unnecessary fan that was in my mini tower. the cooling was adequate with a little more space in the case.

The system runs quietly with the new LOGISYS unit.

I purchased one of these about three years ago and the large fan failed just a week ago in a computer I never turn off. I had a spare supply so I put it in. I'm a ham radio operator so electronic noise is something I can't tolerate. The replacement supply generated noise all over the spectrum. I had another spare supply and it also had terrible noise. I ordered a replacement PS550 and put it in my computer, noise gone!! I'm very pleased with the 550 for this reason. I repaired my old 550 by taking the fan out of one of my noisy spare power supplies, now I have a quiet spare. The sound noise is also low considering there are two fans running.

How much can you really say about a power supply? It went into the tower with no problems, and is really quiet. If you need to keep costs down go with this one. It has 2 SATA connectors, and some molex connectors as well, also a connector for a floppy drive, so will meet most needs. If you need more then 2 SATA connectors, get yourself a few molex to SATA adapters and you're set.

Fried after a few weeks and currently puts out half of it's advertised current.

I would only use this for low load applications since the quality of parts is sub par.

I have this converted to be a lab desk power supply since that's about the only way I can still get any use for it.

I gave it three stars only because of the lower price point but if you need something with true high power output look elsewhere.

This power supply for the price do his function. But do not expect much of her. It does not bring connectors for video cards. Only it brings two connectors sata in the same cable, which it makes very difficult to connect a unit of dvd and the hard disk. It is of quality superior to other power supply of the same range of price. sorry for my bad english.

for the money it IS quiet. If someone said it was noisy they may have a defective product. and mines was defective. it would power the system up and everything would seem fine. but when i would try to turn it on after shutting it down after long periods of time, it will not power up. so i took it out and for 20$ extra i bought a 600w EVGA power supply from Best Buy. now this is running in my media center like a beast. dont buy this power supply. spend the extra cash on something more reliable.
