I'm a fighting game player, and my old Xbox controller was starting to get finnicky, so I got a controller designated for PC gaming from the recommendation of a friend. It's sleek and easy to use. Its D-Pad is super unique because of the diagonal inputs, which is amazing for fighting games. I use it for games ported from consoles, and it makes those games a lot easier. The cord is super long, which pretty much eliminated my gripes about it not being wireless. Overall, if you're looking for a PC gamepad, get this one. So far, I've had no problems.
I have owned this controller for about five months now and I can say without a doubt I made the proper purchase. It is cheaper than the Microsoft equivalents but works (assuming) just as well. I've logged 70+ hours playing Spelunky on this Bad Boy as well as 60+ with Euro Truck Driver 2 and I didn't have to change a thing in the settings. It worked as soon as the games turned on. And its the same way for every single other game I have played using it (at least 50+, I have a massive Steam library but prefer Keyboard/Mouse for first person games. Rouge Legacy, Dirt 2, Strike Suit Zero, Super Meat Boy, honestly the list could go on for ever but for every single one it was pick up and play using this controller).
I must add that I play first person games with keyboard and mouse so if you are looking for review that covers that in particular you may want to skip mine.
I have encountered one problem that is going to require a bit of maneuvering and fixing to make work properly. Not all older games subscribe to the "pick up and playness" that I referenced earlier. Honestly so far it has only been one game (GTA: San Andreas), but I'm confident I can fix the issues at hand. It just gives me pause when it comes to other older games that it wont be so easy to "pick up and play".
It fits nicely in my hands (I have very large hands so it may be different for others) and the buttons seem to have normal responsiveness. The triggers have the right amount of resistance so you can make the perfect shot. Cord length is also long and has never been a hindrance to my gaming experiences.
It has fallen to the floor a few times off of my desk or out of my sleepy hands but has zero cracks and it has not affected its performance at all. Durability has been great. Triggers still work like they did coming out of the box which is wonderful when you consider a game like Spelunky requires you to hold down the right trigger for speed the entire game.
So to recap; Every modern game I have played using it has been a seamless experience. It is as if it is a 360 or PS3 controller. The lone older game I have tried to use it with has been a little wonky to say the least but I am confident I can program it to work the way it has with modern games. I should also add works great with NES and SNES ROMS. I cant believe I had been playing ROMS with a keyboard for so long. A controller makes them infinity easier and just feels right, makes the whole experience a bit more nostalgic.
If you are put off because it isn't an official Microsoft or Sony product stop it. This controller works amazingly with all modern games (again I use keyboard/mouse for first person games so that might make this review completely worthless to you) and with a couple minutes of fooling around can be programed to work perfectly with older games as well.
I do not regret buying this in anyway shape or form. It is a perfect controller for me to dig into my obscene library of games. I'm very pleased with my purchase and would recommend it to a friend.
The controller is great for the price, easy plug and play and no hassle, Feels little awkward compared to a regular Xbox Controller though but other than that works great.
This is my second one of these that I have owned. The first one lasted me about 10 years. I ended up misplacing it in a move. I've spilled liquids on it, I've dropped and kicked it, even threw it out the window at one point. Still functioned perfectly.

Awesome gamepad for PC gamers

A reliable standard that performs well while the buttons last. The good news is that an F310 costs almost nothing. The bad news is that you'll need to buy another one every other year, even with casual use. The buttons wear out long before the pad or joysticks.
Why three stars: form factor is too small. If you have large hands, platformers and twitch-reflex games with this controller hurt your fingers.
I wanted a controller for PC gaming for the rare title where a controller is really that much better than kb&m controls, but I wasn't about to shell out $80 for an Xbox controller and the adapter needed to use it for PC. This is the one I settled on, and after at least 100 hours of gameplay use from Hades alone I can say it's a quality controller.
Note that this does not have rumble capability of any kind, nor does it have some of the fancy speaker/microphone stuff Sony and Microsoft have started adding to their controllers. If you want all the bells and whistles of the expensive controllers - well, you're gonna have to buy one of the expensive controllers. But if you don't really care about that stuff and just want a well built controller with the standard modern Xbox/PS style layout, this one is a great choice. I have never had a game that supports controller input fail to map the controls correctly or anything like that. And if you install Logitech's profiler software, you can fully rebind the controls yourself - allowing you to correct annoying control setups in games that don't have built-in rebindable controller controls, or if you decide you want to use it for a game that doesn't even have controller support you can rebind the buttons to keyboard buttons so as far as the game is concerned you're just using keyboard controls. Not sure exactly how sophisticated the profiler is in terms of macros and the like because I've never bothered to install it, since this controller just works with no fuss for all the games I've tried it with.
It even has a toggle switch on the back to switch to directinput if you wanna play some ancient game that lacks xinput support (if you don't know what this means, don't worry about it - xinput has been the standard for years now and any remotely modern game with controller support is gonna use it).
All the buttons still feel good after 100+ hours of heavy use. I haven't noticed any issues with thumbstick drift, a problem even the "premium" controllers sometimes have. The d-pad is much higher quality than on most cheap controllers - it has 4 separate switches for the 4 cardinal directions instead of just one in the middle, so it is more reliable and feels better to use). The controller itself feels a bit lighter than an Xbox controller but still feels sturdy and durable.
I'll admit I'm a big of a Logitech fan, so maybe I was biased to like this controller - but there's a reason it's one of the most common recommendations for a budget PC controller and the top seller in the PC controllers Amazon category. If you're looking for a cheaper alternative to an Xbox controller, and don't mind a wired controller or lack of rumble support, this is the product you're looking for. At full MSRP of $24.99 it's a very good deal, and if you're patient and look for deals it's not hard to find in the 15-20 range at which point it's an absolute steal.
If you want a budget option that is wireless and has rumble support, look into the Logitech F710.
Comfortable if you have small/average-sized hands.
If you have big hands, it may take some time to get used to or just be outright uncomfortable to use, would recommend an asymmetrical joystick layout in your case (think Xbox controller design type).
Ergonomics aside, this controller has survived 3 dunks onto my floor, more than enough accidental drops, and a slam onto a hard desk (souls-like genre). I firmly believe that this controller could get out of a controller-spike unscathed. All of the plastic bits that hold wiring seem to be just as thick as the controller’s case, allowing this clunky fella to withstand great amounts of physical shock.
Works with Steam and is detected by Windows 11 as a gamepad, further proving its firmware is not bootlegged and is reliable for pc gaming.
Wire is a decent length as I can play on my bed, about a meter away from where it is plugged in, without any stress that I will tug the cord.
Only confusion I ever had with it is that it uses Xbox controller letters for the buttons (A, B, X, Y) but has the symmetric joystick layout of a DualShock 4, so I kept mixing up how my games should communicate with the controller, which is not even a technical issue, just a matter of preference.
