I'm still having trouble set up wide screen view when doing video conference call.
Seems like Amazon was priced higher than most of the retail, but Amazon ship it a lot faster which is the main reason I purchased from here.
Tried several conference cam from Logitech and BRIO is one of the best.
Top reviews from other countries
The most astounding difference is how it handles poor lighting conditions, either very low light, or unusual contrast (such as a person in front of a sunny window or brightly lit white wall. Compared to C930e or C920, the Brio seems to recognise the face and be able to adjust the exposure for facial tones, no matter what else, bright or dark, is in the frame and throws off other webcams. In full HD 1080p, the sharpness is not immensely better than the C930e or C920. Even in 4k, the compression is such that the sharpness certainely does not seem like four times that of 1080p.
As opposed to the Logitech C930e or C920, this model does not include an onboard h.264 compression chip, so it is very taxing on the CPU. On some older computers, this camera performed much worse than the C930e or C920 because of that. The sound quality and background noise cancellation is truely excellent, much better than C930e or C920, to the point where in some rooms, this camera's built-in microphone surpasses the quality of some tabletop dedicated conferencing microphones we use from ClearOne. The lens is very wide, actually too wide for a single person. So you end up having to use the Logitech application to zoom in software on the one person. So the 4k makes sense if you have several people in the same location with this camera, but for a single person, do not intend on using this camera in 4k. Still, the shaprness is such that I use this camera even when I am alone, but we will be running conferencing in 720p or 1080p at most.
Sound is also very good.
