Cons, then Pros, but overall, I’m impressed.
Cons:
- My home’s doorbell transformer had to be replaced. That was a surprise. I went with a 16v 10va rated one. I read about a lot of people buying 30va but that is a waste of money and electricity. The 10va is far more power than needed.
- I wish I could have mounted this horizontally to fit me home’s exterior and cover up the paint spot exposed from removing the old doorbell button. But the image can’t be rotated for some reason.
- There is a white bar LED light that seems to randomly come on and off. I don’t know what the control is for it.
- The Logitech app is Garbage.
Pros:
- Wiring install was easy.
- Apple Homekit was crazy simple and took maybe 30 seconds.
- It looks nice and the images and videos are great.
- Motion detection is fantastic.
