  • Yeti GX comes with a Smart Audio Lock that uses a built in professional quality audio processing to hold your level where it is, preventing it from clipping and distortion. To enable Smart Audio Lock, click the wheel after setting the gain level.

  • Avoid using hubs/docks, especially if they have intermediate software for device detection and management. Test the device with a USB port directly on the computer. Mobile and tablet adapters may not provide adequate power or recognize the microphone

  • Go to Apple > System Preferences>click the Sound icon. On the Input tab, click on the Mic to select it as your default input device.

  • The microphone may not be selected as the default recording device. Set the device to the default device and then check that it works.

  • You can use your Yeti GX with or without G HUB software. However, you’ll need to install the software for firmware updates, to experience Blue VO!CE functionality, and if you want to customize LED lighting effects.

    Great quality & easy to use!
    I love this mic, I am still messing with the settings on the Logitech G Hub to get the correct sound quality. Great value for what you are getting! I feel like the noice suppression can be better but it may just be my settings. Overall I recommend this mic! I have everything Logitech & the g hub is super convenient.

      This microphone has amazing sound quality. I recorded my voiceovers, and I listen to the actual output and without any software modifications the sound was already amazing. The build quality of the Mike is great. I like how lightweight it is because it is made out of aluminum is not that heavy and is very compact in size which means that it will not take up too much space in your work area or set up, I think for the price that this microphone is at it’s well worth it. It makes it rather easy to adjust with the dial on the side of the microphone. The wind cover that’s provided with the microphone is soft feels like a quality wind cover. The Mike does have noise cancellation, which rejects any type of noise or clicks coming from the environment it’s in.

      I really enjoy this microphone, despite it having mixed and negative reviews on YouTube. I mostly bought it for aesthetics since I'm not an audiophile, I don't know much about sound quality. However, this mic sounds great, and I narrate my YouTube videos with it. I also really like having the scroll wheel on the microphone, it's a neat feature that's nice for adjusting mic sensitivity on the fly.

      My use case for this is 99% home office oriented. I was tired of dealing with headsets and every USB speakerphone I tried resulted in crappy voice quality, so I took the plunge on this a week ago. It matches my other Logitech gear (keyboard, mouse, webcam), and people have commented very positively on the audio quality on their end of calls. I am really amazed at how it filters out background noise…I did a test call with music blaring three feet away and it still captured only my voice

      So now, I have my perfect home office - just the microphone plus external speakers. No more headsets, speakerphones, or earbuds. Awesome!

      Only downside is that G Hub isn’t working with it on my MacBook - says there’s a driver problem and Logitech hasn’t been able to help yet. It still functions fine but I can’t use the Blue Voice features. If I plug it into my Windows box, G Hub is fine.

      Expensive but I wanted a mic that would use a USB-C cord for my Mac mini. It didn’t come with one but I had one lying around. This isn’t like other Yetis that have an aux port for headphones. I suspected as much but none of the reviews I saw outright stated this. I’m giving it 4 stars because I didn’t have to download any software. I just plugged it in.

      This product stopped working after 2 weeks and the RGB on the back is the dumbest thing i have ever used on a MIC. DO NOT BUY . For the price of this mic just spend more money and buy the SHURE MV7 USB.
