1. Works in a nearby room or directly above/below the room with the transmitter.
2. Able to hear outside sounds, if you don't want to be completely isolated from your surroundings.
3. Nice to be able to adjust the volume by touching the shell of the right earpad, which acts as a toggle switch.
4. Comes with a short cord in case the dongle won't fit in your unit's audio jack.
CONS:
1. Sound quality is muddy. If you like rock music, you will not hear much of the cymbals or other high notes. It is fine if you listen to spoken voice. The stock earbuds with the Nano 2G are a little better than the Logitech, but with less bass. My Sony MDR-V6 closed-ear cans sound *exceptionally* good with my 2nd Gen Nano. I'll give the Logitech headphones many additional hours to break in, but I had hoped they would sound much better out of the box.
2. Headband is not adjustable and sits close to your neck. Tilting your head back, even slightly, bumps the headband. Wearing a collared shirt also causes your shirt to contact the headband. The around-the-ear part of the headband takes most of the impact. The earpads will move a little. Some collar brushing comes through to the earpads. I think exercising would not go well.
3. Comfortable on the ears for less than an hour.
4. Little if any difference in bass boost and normal.
5. Comes with 6 iPod interfaces, but the Nano interface does not work with the 2nd Gen Nano. You can still plug the dongle into the headphone jack, but without the end cap for the dongle, there is a 2mm gap.
6. It's just more than twice the width of the Nano 2G. It is also slightly offset, left-to-right when looking at the Nano + dongle from the front.
7. I generally had to try to set the connection twice before it sync'd up. Then I needed to start the player right away, because if I waited 30 seconds, it shut itself off.

PROS:
NO wires: Because its bluetooth, there's obviously no wires attached, giving you freedom of about 20-30 feet (actual distance can vary depending on the room you're in and walls in your way)
Headphones Controls: These headphones come equipped with volume controls on the right side of the headphone to easily change the volume without touching the device its attached to. You can also stop the music with the touch of a button, however this does not pause the player and the music keeps going(in other words, the music stops playing from the headphones, but keeps running on the player so when you resume the song, its not in the same spot)
Bass Boost: This feature allows you to increase the bass from your headphones without touching your player.
Sound Quality: Even though they're wireless, they have surprisingly good sound quality that doesn't vary with distance (until you get too far away and it fades in and out)
Durability: I have not tested the earlier version of these headphones but have heard that they break quite often. These seem to have a tougher plastic-like material for the back and when I use them they don't seem fragile.
Battery Life: I can use these for a couple of hours and the battery seems to last quite well. They charge fast and then can be used again.
Versatility and weight: They are very light weight, portable, and can work with almost anything with a headphone jack, even if it doesn't have bluetooth because of the adapter it comes with.
CONS:
Not very comfortable: If you try to lay down and listen to your music, these things get in the way because they go over the back of your neck instead of over your head.
Lack of total control: Although you can control the volume and "pause" your music, you can't change the song.
Cost benefit: My major problem is that these are expensive. I found them cheaptest on Amazon, but they were still close to $100 while their earlier counterpart can be seen for as little as around $30.
Adapter size: The size of the adapter that plugs into the device to give it bluetooth capabiltiy is relatively big. When plugged into my nano, it is wider and almost half as long. It doesn't get in the way too much, but it would be nice if it were smaller.
Review: Although these headphones have several cons, I recommend them for someone who wants to listen to music while cleaning around the house or walking about, or while sitting at the computer. The volume controls are easy to use and the headphones are very portable and the battery is durable.
I bought this item to replace the HP Bluetooth Stereo Headphone (http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B0019FUHEO/ref=ox_ya_oh_product) which had a design flaw causing the headband to crack. The Logitech headphone do not suffer from this flaw, in fact, I found them somewhat more comfortable. The sound is good, the range too and it's easy to get it going.
My complaints would be that the battery life is not great. My work day is shy over 7h long and it won't last this long, only about 4.5 hours, so I can only use it for music in the morning OR in the afternoon but not both.
Also, a MAJOR flaw with this product is that even though it uses bluetooth, it works ONLY IF you use the jack adaptor. In other words, if your phone has bluetooth but no 3.5mm jack, you won't be able to use this product. If the jack adaptor's battery dies, you can't use your headphones. You might suggest to keep the headphone plugged (which defeats the idea of being wireless) but the power cord coming with it (proprietary port, NOT usb) is way too short for that even!
So I repeat since it's important: the headphones will no connect to anything else but the black box with the jack adaptor.
This makes this product far less valuable than what I paid for it. The HP headphone I mentioned in the opening were cheaper and had that feature and many more, but the design flaw causes them to be worthless. If you can find a way to reinforce the headband yourself, by the HP headphone instead.
EDIT (2016-Nov-17): after further testing, I'd like to amend by original post. It is indeed possible to pair the headphones with a bluetooth phone. If you hold the power down for about 20 seconds, it will enter pairing mode and should be visible to your phone as "FreePulse_Wireless". The headphone still suffers from short battery life and proprietary power input with indecently short length.
