This is my 5th one buying on Amazon since January 2021. I blow through the wheel in 6 months it appears, almost exactly. I'm a structural steel drafter and the modeling software is very heavy on the wheel mouse. Got miles going through that thing. Buuut, the regular office mice, like dell or microsoft, have not had any issues in that same time. For real though, if you're going to just game with it, the wheel will probably last you 10x longer than mine.
If i had the time I'd break it open and see what the issue is, but they seem to be on sale every time I feel the wheel is about crap out. Starts to feel like a thin strand of plastic is holdin it together, then it snaps and the wheel will just spin freely and no response. So it just goes in the drawer with all the other dead G403's lol. Going to need a bigger desk eventually...
Anyway, I've used this same line of mice since the logitech MX518. I still have my original mx518, G5, g500 etc etc. Most comfortable mouse for me, fits like a glove and I'm able to work 6 ten hour days a week for 3 years without carpal tunnel lol. and of course its great for gaming!
