Very nice mouse but bigger than described.

I wanted a compact travel mouse for use with a notebook which has limited USB ports so I have been looking for the perfect Bluetooth solution. I have tried a couple of different Bluetooth mice already but I wanted something smaller. The description on Amazon mentions the word "compact" and states the size is "2 x 3 x 1 in" so when the Logitech M535 arrived I was surprised to see it was closer to 4 inches long and not much smaller than a regular full size mouse. The mouse works great and paired immediately. It has a good weight and feel but the size is not quite what I expected so only 4 stars.
I have attached a picture alongside my Logitech M187 mini mouse to show the difference in size.

Won't Work With Newest Version of Windows 10 According to Logitech Support

I wanted a Bluetooth mouse for a new laptop that had limited USB ports. I really liked this mouse ( Logitech m535) upon receiving it. It worked very well and was comfortable to use. I was so confident that I wanted to keep it that I threw away the packaging. A few days later it stopped working. It shows that it is paired with my laptop but it will not connect. After spending hours trying to solve the problem I contacted Logitech and they told me that it wasn't compatible with the newest Windows 10 build I have, which is Windows 10 Home, Ver. 1803, OS build 17134.191. Only solution is to wait and see if it becomes compatible with a future build. So beware that if you buy this mouse at some point it may no longer work as your computer updates. I have 3 other mice, a keyboard, a headset, and 2 webcams from Logitech so this experience is disappointing. Hope this helps others with their decision in purchasing this mouse.

Great for the new MacBook Pro (2017)

I've been a MacBook Pro user for ~10 years and have always had a small wireless mouse to use at my desk and take on travel. The new MacBooks only come with USB-C ports and my previous Logitech mouse required a USB-A 'unifying receiver' for it's wireless connection. To use my previous mouse (which I really liked) with the new MacBook, I would have to add a USB-C adapter, which was kind of annoying. Since this new mouse connects over Bluetooth, I no longer need a unifying receiver nor a USB-C adapter. This mouse is really amazing ... I just enable on Bluetooth, turn on the mouse, ... and it just works!

This mouse isn't very different than a lot of other mice, and is the second one of this model that I have purchased. THIS one was purchased for use on the household's second laptop. I was pleased enough with the first one, that there wasn't a difficult decision when we needed a second one.

There are several really nice benefits. First, and the main reason I highly recommend this model is it doesn't' lose connection with the laptop. I've had a couple other mice that frequently would require powering off and then back on to restore communication with the laptop. Sometimes with a previous Logitech model, it would require restarting the PC AND the restarting the mouse. NONE of these issues have occurred with either of this model, ON EITHER COMPUTER. Secondly, this model is MUCH more economical to operate. The previous model AND it's predecessor, both required 2, AAA batteries about every 3-4 weeks. This mouse needs ONE AA battery, and the original battery in the first mouse has been going for more than 4 months! Other Benefits: The mouse feels very comfortable in my hand, It tracks accurately on a variety of surfaces, and has been dropped multiple times with no apparent damage. Overall, a GREAT value!

Another Excellent Logitech Bluetooth Mouse!

I bought this mouse on impulse. I have an M557 paired to my laptop that has been serving me well for a few years now, but I like the design of Logitech's new mice (I have an M330 Silent that I use with my desktop that I absolutely love and if they release a "Silent" version of this mouse, I'm getting it!).

I had no issues pairing the M535 with my Asus laptop and all functions/features respond well. This mouse is configured by the new Logitech Options software which feels a lot more simplified than the original SetPoint software. The button configuration is good as is, but I like to have the center mouse button pull up the Start Menu, so that was the only change. The sensor is accurate and properly responsive. I prefer a quicker mouse pointer, so a small increase there and I'm golden.

It's definitely a travel size mouse, about the same size as the M557 only differing in the shape and texture. The matte finish on the buttons and rubberized surround give it a great in-hand feel. Like most Logitech mice it tracks smoothly (especially on my gaming mouse pad which is geared toward low friction). It is certainly lighter than the M557, as it only seats a single AA battery as opposed to the pair used by the M557. This is a subjective characteristic though, as users will differ in their preference regarding weight.

On the subject of connectivity, I think I've already sorted all of that out with the M557. I used to experience dropped connections, but after searching onilne, I found a remedy focusing on the OS's networking and Bluetooth settings, preventing power and connections to be disabled (for battery savings and performance). With that in mind, the M535 has performed well and has never missed a movement or click.

The main reason I opt for Bluetooth mice on my laptop, as many do, is to keep the USB ports free. This mouse, like the one before it, serves this purpose exactly. For anyone interested, make sure that your laptop/desktop is Bluetooth capable, otherwise you'll end up having to buy a separate Bluetooth dongle to connect the mouse, thus defeating the purpose of keeping the ports free. If this is the case, look into the M335, it's the same mouse using Logitech's wireless nano USB receiver.

The Bluetooth receiver broke and now the mouse doesn't to connect to my computer. All of my other Bluetooth devices still work.

This is very disappointing for a brand like Logitech. My old mice all lasted over 2 years.

UPDATE: I've spent 3 weeks dealing with Logitech's incompetent customer service and the company is refusing to replace a defective product under warranty. I've received over 15 emails and now they've gone silent. It's time for me to move on from this company and go with one that actually values its customers and stands behind its products. Hopefully Anker makes a mouse in the future. Now that's a company that cares

I like the performance and ease of use but....

This is my first ambidextrous mouse after coming from a Logitech G403 wired.
Heres what I have noticed so far.

M535 Pros:
Works out the box
Its relatively quick

M535 Cons:
The scroll wheel isnt smooth
The clicks are loud
The weight is more focused at the rear side so only use it when you're on a mouse mat surface otherwise there will be so much noise against the table when lifting.

I know its supposed to be portable but I wish it had a slight bigger size similar to the MX anywhere 2s and some kind of even weight distribution.
Or if anyone from Logitech is reading this then just make a mini G403 wireless but not Gaming so an M403? which doesnt have the side buttons and instead embed them in the scroll wheel.

There was a bit of an issue when I had the mouse Bluetooth'd to the Fire HD, the Fire HD to my car's sound system and my car to my phone, but that's hardly surprising!!!
