The new Logitech S-220 Speaker System contains several upgrades to its predecessor, the S-200 Speaker System. Unlike the S-200, the new S-220 encompasses increased usability with a newly styled control base to manage improved acoustics, volume and VoIP connectivity. Bass tuning by the end user is often permanent once a setting is established. With the end-user experience at the forefront of Logitech's design strategy to minimize desk clutter the S-220 bass control is located directly on the subwoofer. This allows the end user to tune the speaker system with no concerns for any accidental control adjustments. Finally, the newly designed S-220 advantages improved acoustics for a smoother, rich experience to enjoy music, VoIP discussions or playing video games. What's in the box: Logitech S-220 Speaker System, Subwoofer, 2 x Satellite Speakers, Wired Remote Control, All Necessary Cables, Setup Guide and 3-year Manufacturer's Warranty

The subwoofer is slim, well built, and can be controlled by the knobs on the back of it. The speakers come with a wired remote control for volume and on/off switch. I rather have these than use Bose speakers which are heavily overpriced and advertised in all types of media and use low quality drivers and enclosures in their products.
• Good sound quality
• Well built subwoofer
• Has its own remote control
• Good price
• If placed on the floor, the knobs on the subwoofer might not be easy to reach for adjustments
• Might distort at max volume
Great speakers for the price and simple to use. If you replace the Logitech logo with Bose, it would cost $200 and not $20 for the same quality.
All that said, don't expect this system to serve well for a large-room home theater, to provide thundering bass, or to let you hear finger-friction on a guitar strum - no $25 set will do that. But in my very humble opinion, I doubt there's a speaker system for that price on the market today offering a better combination of sound quality, power capacity, attractive design, and ease-of-control. If you find one that's better, please leave me a comment. It'll help my Christmas shopping. Thanks.
Ended up the Logitech system went up stairs and will have to suffice for the step kids, lol! I mean it don't sound horrible by any means, especially for the money as it will suite most.
I just figured I would do a quick comparison and even tried various tracks of music, also movies and the Cyber Acoustics won each time.
Highly recommend the Cyber Acoustics set, as it digs low on the lows and sounds nice and crisp. Also helps to have a good sound card, which will bring alive any setup really.
The Logitech S220 has nice crisp highs and mids, with a slight hint of thinness or sounding tinny at times. The bass is very reasonable, especially considering the price of the unit and the size of the sub. But it is also a bit muddy and imprecise at times - still, for the money it sounds incredible and I would have no problems recommending this unit to someone who was just looking for a good, solid, inexpensive speaker set for their computer. For most people, this is probably all they will ever need in a sound system for their computer.
You can't really go wrong with either, but I prefer the CA-3602 by a slight margin.
They were very well packed. I ordered this unit in a hurry and did not look at the negative reviews until the evening after ordering. At that point I was wishing that I had spent more time reading all of the reviews and I was worried that I had made the wrong choice. I'm glad I had not read the reviews! This is a fantastic set and I can't believe that I got something that sounds this good for such a low price. I would have no problem recommending this set to anyone. For the money, this is a GREAT set. No one would believe that such sound could come from twenty some dollars!
UPDATE DECEMBER 2009: These speakers are holding up just like new and continue to amaze,...expecially for the price. We have also been running the television through them when we hook the computer up to tv. Sound is much better than tv speakers. I am buying several pairs for Christmas gifts. The price is right! I still cannot understand the bad reviews here. Could it be that somehow people are hooking the system up wrong? I know that when we get the cables in the wrong place on the computer, the sound is raspy and weak, but we still get sound.
