Also, an exterior edge showed more wear than it should have (the green fabric had worn down in 1-2 places - and the bag was always used in a normal fashion.
If the quality and reliability were as I'd have expected, it would get 5 stars because otherwise it is well-designed with much thought put into the features. It's lightweight and elegant-looking, as befits a London Fog product.
(I returned it for a replacement, which was shipped immediately - thanks, guys; you made the process painless and easy! - but I haven't used the replacement yet. When I do, I'll review it. I'm hoping to be able to give it 5 stars. Stay tuned...
UPDATE: I'm updating this review and rating because the replaced item is perfect and I've had no problem with it. I must have received a dud the first time. 5 stars for the quality and the prompt and hassle-free customer service!
be careful how you pack it. Heavy items need to be on the inside bottom, not in the front pouch. Even so, the packed bag has a tendency to tip forward if you're not careful. Such a waste of space in that big front pouch! Another downside - the bag smelled awful when I first took it out of the box. I aired it outside for about two weeks or so before using it; the toxic smell is not as bad now.
I feel I'm stuck with just an okay bag; at least it does seem sturdy and the price was good.
I will use the case for the first time in April of 2013 and my review will be updated at that time and include photos.
The case seems to be of very good quality, the zippers are large enough for the the thickest of fingers to grab hold of and the compartments and compartment zippers seem to be pretty good as well.
IF it helps any; I was so impressed by the quality of the 28 inch case that within a month, I ordered the 25 inch matching suit case.
Still, don't let that deter you from purchasing. The bags look just as lovely in the picture as they do when in use and they present a classy look. I've gotten so many compliments on them.

I have not used it yet, so not sure how it will stand up to some rough handeling by the baggage folks. But I will tell you it is a fine looking bag. And looks well constructed. Read morePublished 22 months ago by douglas ingram
