Fit: I'm a smaller guy at 5'7, 150 lbs, with an athletic build. I bought the small and it fits just about right, perhaps slightly to large. This coat is not built to be form fitting. It is built lose around the waist which means its nice with layering but may be a bit to loose otherwise. As a result the fit is better suited for a more casual overcoat in my opinion. Of course I dress very casually so if your MO is button up shirts... This might be an everyday coat.
Style: As another reviewer stated the seams are more pronounced than in coats of a higher price. As a result it makes a poor formal overcoat. I think it goes well with button up shirts and jeans, like when meeting a friend at a bar.
Comfort: Warmer than expected. Very comfy with good materials.
Overall this coat will have its uses but, at least for me, it will not be my primary coat. I've never been one for having a ton of jackets (or clothes for that matter) but this definitely has a place in my wardrobe. I never wear scarves by the way but the scarf that comes with this jacket, while nice colors, sseems pretty darn cheap.
Would recommend it to everyone to buy, it's nice coat with good quaility and it matches it's price.
The coat is extremely well made. Not surprising as London Fog has been a well respected name in the industry for a long time. The thing I really love about the coat is that it is fancy enough to wear with dress clothes but it is not so fancy that it can't be worn with a nice pair of jeans also. The bad thing is, I am so protective of it right now that I don't want to wear it to places that don't have a place to hang the coat for fear that it might get dirty. I'm guessing this will pass in a few weeks. The darker color (I ordered the charcoal) should keep it looking great and I'm guessing only 1 or 2 dry cleans a season.
If you are looking for something solely for your really dressy attire then you may want to look for a full length wool coat or a double breasted pea coat. If you are looking for something that goes with everything and looks extremely classy without looking pretentious..this is it.

Nice looking coat. After a dozen washes is starting to show some rough fabric, but with a little trimming with a sweater shaver it still looks good enough for daily wear. Read morePublished 19 months ago by S. Kerry
I like this coat as it protects well. Used it all winter, it has started to fade a little but overall a good purchase.Published on March 8, 2014 by Ankit Shah
